  • On March 1, 2021, police conducted a second confidential purchase of methamphetamine from a man in La Crosse, WI. That evening, police obtained a search warrant for the man's residence. After they knocked and identified themselves, the man locked the door. As a result, police utilized a battering ram to make entrance into the residence.

@@colbymarsh2074 i agree that Meth is a terrible drug. I however do not try to dictate others actions or consciousness based upon my own dogmas or beliefs.
Its a personal choice to do drugs and anybody buying them is making that choice on their own. These people werent abducting kids and forcing them to smoke meth. Theyre just providing a service for those that willingly and knowingly destroy their body for an escape of their mind.

The worst thing was over the years was watching many of those children continuing in the cycle of criminality, drug abuse and neglect, 15 years after retiring it still saddens me that we can't seem to break that pattern for a lot those kids. You don't want the police going berserk. With that kind, there is, I believe, an increased risk of them hitting the wrong house. If there are overzealous supervisors and a judge that rubber stamps warrants, that could also mean an innocent family getting hit or harmed, due to a Karen making a false allegation, and detectives not doing due diligence. Officers don't want to let their guard down though, that's also an unsafe situation.

      1. It is still a choice to accept that "free trial pack"
      2. You're making an assumption that all dealers do free trial packs
      3. Even for methamphetamine it takes at least more than a week of constant use to become dependent, a free trial pack most likely would only entice a user to continue, but most likely would not be enough to get them addicted.
It is absolutely a choice and a victimless crime. I know you've been told all of your life "drugs are bad" with the teachers and school posters, but the reality is much different from what you've been fed. That hoarding in that house is a sign that someone in there has depression. I hope the police interrogated both of them and reccomended counselling. What a mess. As for the drug dealer.....

I hate when people use their harsh “whisper voice” that they think is super dooper sneaky when it’s actually louder and more identifiable as talking than a normal speaking tone.
The cop’s lips were basically on the front door as he tried to quietly yell instructions to people.
They should have just brought some cardboard boxes to hide under while keeping an eye out for exclamation points above peoples’ heads.

This was a great raid. Did everything very well. Clear verbal exclaim, treated them firmly yet kindly, showed respect to the dog and cared for it.
