James, next time you interview Kevin, ask him how Mark Lewin's doing lately. He's like 86 now. I trained alongside Sully and Mark at Athletes Fitness Center in Tampa, owned by Rick Poston, with whom I'm still in regular contact. Mark was a freakin' BEAST back then, and it sounds like he hasn't lost that fire. I hope he's still doing as well as it seems he's been. Very nice guys, both Sully and Mark. Sully used to bum Copenhagen snuff off of me after workouts, since I always had it on me!

    Kevin's ideal nWo...
    Stage 1 - Hall, Nash & Hogan
Stage 2 - Syxx joins (Crow Sting starts)
Stage 3 - Scott Steiner defects to nWo due to trouble with Flair and the office.
    Stage 4 - Bagwell joins
Stage 5 - Internal feud between Syxx and Bagwell (Sting defeats Hogan)
    ---- Me adding to it
Stage 6 - Hall & Nash back Syxx, Hogan backs Bagwell.
Stage 7 - Nash and Hogan get beef (like real)
Stage 8 - nWo separate into Wolfpac as Nash, Hall & Syxx and Hollywood of Hogan, Stiener & Bagwell.
Stage 9 - Both sides start a recruitment drive, but also fued with X2 other factions who are doing a recruitment drive (4 horsemen & Team WCW lead by Bischoff).
Stage 10 - Benoit & Henning join Horsemen, and WCW consists of Goldberg, Harlem Heat & DDP. Some other minor factions also have small battles (Lwo etc). All factions want Sting & Giant to join them.
    --- Mass brawl at PPV
4 WAY TAG MATCH for tag titles
4 WAY hell in a cell for title
Other matches lower on card too.
Giant joins nWo Hollywood who defeat team WCW.
    ------
Stage 11 - Henning defects to Wolfpac who defeat 4 Horsemen. Syxx joins WWF & DX.
Stage 12 - Luger joins Wolfpac, Macho joins Hollywood.
Stage 13 - Sting joins Wolfpac
Stage 14 - Nash wins title off Goldberg
Stage 15 - Instead of fingerpoke of doom, Sting & Luger betray Wolfpac to win title for WCW and help Goldberg win. The stipulation dictates that nWo has to disband, both Wolfpac and Hollywood factions.
    Job done.

Brian Pillman I wish got chance to try his plan at Super Bowl. Maybe Bengals would have won if he chained himself to the goalpost ;)? Booking in ECW when Gordon was there before Heyman ruined it was doing quite well. Talent is something for a Real Sport like MMA. They were able to turn guys like Raven into stars who fluttered in WWF. Others who failed in WCW like Jerry Lynn who was JL. There some real interesting stories. I would wonder why Japanese Wrestlers were on. Though getting paid 1M will get Masa Chono TV time hehe. Madusa with Spice as Valet winning over Evan was only decent Inter Gender Matches. Any guy who lost to Chyna or Jackie or any Woman never remotely recovered then or now. It sunk Pro Wrestling too :). Figures Dusty Rhodes would think of something stupid like Berlin. That people still think his ideas or booking were good only to bankrupt or sink anything he did. We would say Dusty Rhodes booking to describe trash or garbage. Nitro Gals when they dismantled them it was done. Disco Inferno had a run here or there with title but losing to a FEmale made him into a joke celebrity impersonator that hire for Weddings. That is impressive he knows from Duckman. Vince still around for WWE so its funny they thought he was gone ;). Russo never had any success all they did was commercialize the ECW stories and brand. Even taking ideas for characters others had like Val Venis. I did think the Brawl for All was good but didn't work out for an idea. If not for TNT or TBS selling them out it would have been WWF that went Bankrupt. ECW is what was driving wrestling but when they ruined that it had nothing to steal ideas from and stars. Once all the Wrestlers were under the same Umbrella it was basically finished. Bland Split never worked Raw or SmackDown or NXT currently. HOgan having Personal Service Contract is really eye opening. I remember he was stale in there trying to push as Face. When they went away from NWA Championship to the WCW it lost a lot of luster. Wasting all this money on flights for those who don't appear. Russo as on air talent in the football helmet even winning championship or wrestling will be memories nobody forgets only regrets :).

He kills his credibility with the intergender stuff. No one could suspend the disbelief that 5'2 120lb Jackie was going to beat a professional wrestler, mostly well over 225lbs and 6' tall+. That said, this was a great part 2 of a great overall interview. Sullivan has been a key player for all the years I watched wrestling, and I only wish I could have seen more of his Florida stuff.

It’s well known that Jackie Moore was a shoot bad ass. Not saying that she would win in a shoot fight but this is a woman who was broken in by Skandor Akbar back in Texas. There’s many stories of Jackie being respected because she was so legit. Anyway, my grandma could have kicked Disco’s ass and she’s been dead for 20 years

@@Cultofpersonality09129 in the 1980s and 90s (and before) that wasn't happening. Remember this is supposed to be wrestling. And while the "sports entertainers" of today aren't made of the same stuff as the old guys, i doubt there are plenty of women who could take them.

Beg to differ with you on Jackie. In working for The Philadelphia Spectrum I got to know many Wrestlers personally one of which was Jackie. Pound for pound Jackie was one of the strongest wrestlers I ever got to know. You know the Chris Benoit murder of Nancy if this had been Jackie things might have been different.

It's weird that there are still anti-Russo marks out there. We've seen the creative ideas from people in shoot interviews now, and we know that Russo is miles ahead of everybody. The idea that Vince McMahon filtered Russo is a joke. Look at what McMahon was putting on TV before Russo as well as after. Stupid idea after stupid idea. McMahon didn't filter Russo. Russo filtered McMahon. Also, Brett Hart was always overrated and Oldberg was boring.
