I’m watching this in 2024. Going back to 1981 I was 11 and my parents had recently divorced. My mom relocated to central Florida below Lakeland. I walked in one Sat eve and wrestling(CWF). I watched as a wrestler was returning from Memphis. Kevin Sullivan. He left CWF a baby face but when he returned he caused so much carnage. It was great! Now in 2024 Kevin was in a car accident. Prayers for Kevin and his family. They are in our prayers.
Just heard the news about Kevin’s passing. Like many of the late 70’s and 80’s wrestlers, especially heels, as a kid did not appreciate them at all. Now, I spend hours finding what video is out there to watch these masters at work. They are a big reason that wrestling made it through to today.
Kevin made a slight mistake. The senator wasn't Billy Sol Estes that was a corrupt business partner of LBJ. The senator from Tennessee was named Estes Kevfauver

IRONICALLY, it was the "shoot interview" that I learned wrestling was a work/fixed.
