I saw Majestica live a month ago and also a year ago so he is doing concerts with his own band (where he writes most of the music) and he has had that band for over 20 years (former name ReinXeed). You can find videos/music under both names here on RUclips. He has covered himself as well you should check out The Light 20 year celebration a ReinXeed “cover” that is awesome. He wrote it when he was a young teen. Recorded it in 2008 I think and now remade it as a cover 20 years later.
As others have said, Majestica is Tommys band. Listen to the Christmas carol suite. Thats on another level. And yes, its Charles Dickens Christmas carol.
Tommy is so amazing on so many levels. This one was released near the end of his time with Sabaton and it made me want to just give him a motherly hug. He is soooo hardworking! Sabaton is another band rabbit hole you should dive down.😂 As for Majestica, they have started working on their second album! From their first album I recommend Above the Sky and Metal United. Tommy also wrote and put to music the Christmas story of Scrooge. (Metal of course😂😂😂)

Tommy released 8 albums of his own music with his band Majestica ( formerly named ReinXeed), I suggest starting with the song Above The Sky. This video was recorded while on tour with Sabaton, a band Tommy was a part of for 7 years as a guitarist (not a singer). I highly recommend checking out Sabaton too, singer Joakim has very different voice than Tommy, but really suitable for songs they play. They sing about history, mostly wars and battles, but without gloryfying war or taking sides, they simply tell stories. I suggest their songs Bismarck and Christmas Truce for start

He left earlier this year to focus on his own band, Majestica, where he is lead singer, guitar player, producer and songwriter. Check out "Above the sky" (official music video) by Majestica. Now, some of the band members in that video are not part of the band now. Sabaton, founded by Joakim Brodén and Pär Sundström, (song writer and lyrics), who tour with Hannes Van Dahl on drums; and two lead guitarists: Chris Rörland and Tommy Johansson (who came on when Thobbe Englund left the band). When Tommy decided to focus on his band Majestica, Thobbe returned to Sabaton. Sabaton's history-themed heavy metal has a big audience. En Livstid I Krig, live at Gothenberg, is highly recommended. Also, Hellfest 2019, when Joakim lost his voice, and Tommy and Chris took turns singing songs for the rest of the concert. Majestica's A Christmas Carol is incredible.
