The 4th presentation I would suggest is a weightless presentation with the bait nose hooked, rather than running an ewg all the way through the bait. This helps the bellows actuate and disperse more water. I found the bait to be a bit stiff and dead in terms of action when I ran my ewg all the way through the bait without a weight.

A white one with the plain hook would look the most like a dyeing shad. Making it's shape unique, especially for that. A drop shot if your trying to fish faster searching for them.

I wish they were a little more buoyant so the profile stood up a little better at rest.

90% of other plastics are better trailers. It has no advantage on a bass jig. as a trailer it's too fat. Won't help your hook ups. The whole picture needs to be viewed in your head. A plain jig that takes it down slower is what Alton Jones JR did to win the MLF heavy hitters tournament this year. A fluttering shad not crawdad.

I see nothing special about them what so ever. Karls bait and tackle had a great sale on the yoto worm tickle tail which is very similar and I was able to get a bunch of packs for $1.06 each. I've been catching a lot of nice bass rigging them on a scrounger head.

You don't understand the uniqueness of that bait. Putting it on a bass jig kills what it emulates, a shad, not a fat unrealistic crawdad. Geees
