SAVING THE SPLENETICS (You're Welcome) | Emulated Mind #02 | ZEPHON

- Today we're playing the spiritual successor to Warhammer 40k: Gladius - Relics of War. It's called ZEPHON, which refers to one of a couple of different invading alien races, and it's post-apocalyptic Earth, and we're playing as a cancer patient turned graphics card... If that seems a little confusing it's because I'm still piecing it together, myself.
If you enjoy this 4X goodness then be sure to go check out the demo that's on steam now: store.steampow...

From cambridges dictionary:
splenetic - used to describe a person who easily becomes angry or annoyed, or their behaviour
If you do not help them, they will attack your main base instead,so I guess that explains their name.
Yeah we picked this demo up after playing Gladius too, very very similar, but definitely a more polished and better looking game overall. But will we trade the 40k universe for that? idk!
The age-old question: a worse game in an IP you know or a better game in a new universe?
I will in a heartbeat, and I really like 40k and warhammer in general. Obviously I'm just speaking for myself here not the broader community, but a new cool setting to me is always better than one I've already got a game in.
@@TheMoonlitFaerie Me too. I hope the publisher has success with it, even though the Warhammer diehards won't buy it.
I am thoroughly enjoying this playthrough :)
Question about the Emulated Mind; do her "subjects" have autonomy? Or is the entire faction just one giant "borg collective" with her as the queen?
A word mixed of two (or more) words: "portmanteau".
An intriguing game, enjoying this series very much. Is it possible to rename cities?
It's going well, I think.
The naming sheme is from christian/jewish mythology.
