    Our favorite thing to do in GCI is to visit the National Museum. Immediately behind the museum is a great little kitchen that has some excellent food.
    When we were on the Solstice, we noted that they were playing the same song at 5:45 pm three straight nights.

      Thanks for the tip regarding the museum. We will have to check it out sometime.

    Jill!! Snail, octopus…..we’re seeing a trend here. Will you continue on this path of a culinary adventure?? You’re forging the way for me!! 😄 Scott says if you try it I have to try it. 😳

      Trying things out side my comfort zone where food is concerned. I have been noticing that as I mature so does my tastebuds!

    I just use my hand as a cup. Worked for drinking from the stream as a kid and great with an awkward tap. Also toothpaste is really harsh on yiur skin so you can rinse any excess away.

  • @SusanbVT555
    @SusanbVT555 13 дней назад +7

    Hmm, the elephant in the room is why would you put your mouth under a sink faucet like a water fountain? Is that a Canadian thing? In my experience you use a glass or cup of some sort. Is that just in the US?

    • @peggy2429
      @peggy2429 13 дней назад

      Definitely not a Canadian thing

    • @CruisingCanucks
      @CruisingCanucks  13 дней назад

      Ewwww.....everyone else puts some slimey, toothpaste smeared mouth up to a clean glass in the bathroom? Yuck. So then someone cleans the glass or does all the toothpaste debris stick to the glass for the same pleasure each night? Ewwwww - sticking to under the tap - much more sterile.

    • @larrys2554
      @larrys2554 День назад

      Omg, never ever have we put our mouth under a faucet. How about cupping your hands to get water to rinse your mouth and washing off the toothpaste off your mouth? Or wash off your mouth and use a glass to rinse your mouth out, that’s what the glasses are in the bathroom for.

    OMG those cakes in the buffet! No other food needed LOL. When even I have a choice to taste octopus I will. It seems totally different from calamari. (which I don't like). And tou guys looked handsome again for diner.

      The cakes were beautiful and delicious.🍰 Not sure if you would like octopus if you don’t like calamari. It has a very similar texture and taste in my opinion.

    We are off to grand cayman in April, I am not as brave as you to do our own tour. Worry about missing the ship

    • @CruisingCanucks
      @CruisingCanucks  12 дней назад

      We like to get off first thing in the morning knowing that we have a lot time to work with. We tend to go back and forth on whether we do a ship excursion or something on our own. We always book through the ship if it is a whole day excursion that we are planning. That way we don’t have to worry about the timeline.

    It's Greek food. Cyprus was a Greek island before the Turks illegally invaded the island. It's still recognized as such (Greek). The Turkish area is not recognized by the United Nations or EU.

      Good evening from England, loving your video as always, but please don’t rinse your mouth after cleaning your teeth, I only found this out last year but it washes away the fluoride, don’t even put water on your brush during brushing, taking some getting used to but I know it’s good for me😊
