Hello! We have a new music video out. By "we" I mean WOMBOT, a new studio that consists of myself, and my partner Zoë Medcraft. This video was directed by Zoë, who also did most of the animating as well as all the painting (but I did some stuff too!)
The track is by Nitai Hershkovits and Rejoicer- long time followers of this channel might remember Nitai for his track Flyin' Bamboo which I made a video for in the past. Incidentally Zoë also worked with me on the Flyin' Bamboo video, but we weren't "a studio" yet.

i think you did an amezing job with the official video.
i had anticipating some depth going into it with the music, but none was had, and that was acctually a really really nice twist for me. the simplistic and consistent instruments coupled with your amezing art style and pacing. it was a very very nice story about ants.

Let’s hope he never finds breakcore (or hope that he does) because if that happens I think we’ll get the trippiest animation ever on his channel, seeing what he does with generally calm songs makes me fear for aggressive songs.

I LOVE Nitai Hershovits work! He makes unexpected musical choices, and that gives a fresh life into music when you’re sure you know what to expect. His work on “Flyin Bamboo” for instance, the other Felix Colgrave video he did music for, there are these clever little piano moments when the ladybugs fall, and the music is left unresolved and it’s incredible

Absolutely loved this. The music is great too! So how does it work, an artist commissions you to make a MV for their song, and give you full freedom to express your creativity? Or do they give you guidance lines on what to do and you follow them to a certain degree?
