I ordered mine right before I went on vacation at the end of July. The site said they were out of stock at the US warehouse and were expected to arrive there 8/9. So I figured by the time they hit the warehouse and got to me, I'd be home. Well, they ended up showing up on my porch on 7/30 while I was gone. I'm definitely not complaining but it's a good thing my mom was house sitting or I would have been freaking out worrying that someone would steal them. I only started DCS a few months ago, but I'm loving all of my WinWing stuff.
Just a note, they recently upgraded the pedals. You no longer get the rubber mat and arms, and instead they changed it to a thick metal plate with non-slide feet. Got mine in a few days ago, and it's great.
Just got mine today from US store....no shipping cost, no tax and 20% off. Great deal. AND....it was almost fully assembled already...only had to screw in the dampner and one end of the bar on the peddles. Took 5 minutes to be up and running. Love them....works in DCS, Star Citzen and MS Flight Sim 2024 like a charm. Shipping took 3 days......crazy as last time I ordered from them it took 30 days and tons of shipping cost. They've obviously fixed that (Late NOV 2024)
Nice to see the review of these. Like to see how they work out long term. For my cheap saitek rudder peddles, I use valcro on the bottom of mine so it stick to the carpet.
The only thing I'd change is have a toe switch for the centering spring. It's a PITA to lean down and go from heli to fixed wing. Otherwise great pedals! Winwing is so good.
These seem alarmingly affordable compared to the TM TPRs I’ve been eyeing up for a while, but buying in the UK I think shipping would probably even the price out.
Hmmm....I am about to order a set of these. I was gonna do without the damper but now you got me thinking. Not all my aircraft have a centered rudder. I fly the DCS L-39 a lot since working on these was my livelihood for most of the last 20 years until I retired recently. They don't have hydraulic flight controls (except for the L-39MS version) and the rudder, like everything else, is directly connected to the pedals with no centering mechanism. So it would seem like you would want to use the pedals without the spring but with the damper for such aircraft. On the other hand, when you're in the real aircraft, the rudder is kind of centered by the airflow around it, so... Anyway, I digress. I have the Winwing Orion 2 stick and throttle which I love and have wondered if Winwing were ever gonna put out a rudder pedal set to go with them. And here they are.
Higher end pedals provide better precision of control. You should try them with a war bird or a helo to measure their value. A F-16 isn't going to give you a good idea of how much better the Orion pedals are compared to entry level pedals.
A great vid but for one teeny commission. clarity on assembling the feet is missing. took me the better part of a day of slogging to ge this part done. One tip I would suggest is a little bit i of sticky tape to keep the washers in channel while you try to get the screw in the hole. A shot of the finished config of the feet would be most helpful as well. So 8 hours for the feet and 15 minutes for the rest. The engineering on those feet though could use a little work 🙂
I have them as well, you don’t really use rudder in the F-16 other than for NWS and for minor corrections during takeoff. I’m currently learning the Hornet and you don’t really use the rudder either other than for NWS and wheel brakes. I’d imagine they are way more useful for non FBW aircraft and the helos.
From what I see, I think Winwing needs to rethink the feet for the pedals, they don't have very good grip on the carpet., other than that, they look pretty good, I would have liked to see you using them in a practice mission.

Its never been a better time to be a PC flight simmer and Im doing it since the end of the 80s... good vid as usual

I wish these were around when I was in the market. But I have zero complaints with the MFG Crosswind v3s. Dampeners are a must IMHO.
Just ordered mine on Friday... Glad they got the USA and Canada warehouses so that shipping is free.
Ty for the VOD. 🥃🥃

Do they still have these in stock for the US. I just see pre ordering

Winwing has a UK store with free shipping!!

I wish they kept the Skywalker name. They would have totally won if challenged by Disney, plus the Chinese government wouldn't have cared.
They can't for legal reasons I think

I'm still using the racing peddles that came with my G2. I just don't know if it's worth $350 to upgrade.
Is it compatible either XBOX series X with alpha bravo (honeycomb)
Nope! Only thing compatible is the honeycomb rudder pedals on Xbox for your setup.
I do not have a winwing setting, no program loaded
😃

@@rwhunt99 because you’re supposed to have an actual flight right when buying high end gear! Not just put them on a floor!
@@SIMRIG412 Not sure what you're saying, do they not go on the floor?
