(DING) "Oh, what's that? A bell? Time for school." How could you leave out the best part of that whole bit? That's like leaving out the "E & Blow" part from that Vedder Call Saul bit-oh wait!
I was looking forward to this list as I owe my love of music to growing up watching The Muppet Show compilations on VHS and Muppets Tonight (which I think gets a bad rep but has some hilarious moments), but I'm surprised there was no Weezer or OK Go. I think it would have also been cool if it was a list of all "rock related" moments involving the Muppets and not just "Rock Star" moments. Then you could have had Sid Knishes and The Mosh Potatoes, Nine Inch Snails, Kermit singing Once In A Lifetime by Talking Heads and the song Can You Picture That? from The Muppet Movie, which I used to think influenced Walk This Way haha
They missed a gag line with the purple guy. "well, if you are formerly known as Prince, what are you known as now?" "Oh... and I only have last names on my list so Prince what?"

@Metsarebuff 22 A "rock star" has become a generic term for a "music star." I mean, look at all the people, groups enshrined in the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" that did not write and/or perform rock music. Plus, Buddy Rich "rocked" the drums quite a bit harder than Paul Simon has on the guitar. At least, that is how I see it.
Alice Cooper guest hosted. And kept trying to get them to sign contracts with the devil. It was hilarious. The Muppets could get away with things 99% of "family" shows couldn't. The Muppets pushed limits all the time. Why they were so great. The Cindy Crawford episode involved more innuendo that you think could be packed into 30 minutes of broadcast TV.
I used to work for an internet-news-live show-whatever and one day Slash and Cookie Monster were scheduled to be on. I was surreal seeing Slash ask if he could meet Cookie Monster.

I always loved the Dave Grohl one, that "You hear the bell? Time for school" line is just so badass
The world could really use the Muppets brand of humor right now. Irreverant yet loving, hopeful and savage.

Because Jack Black is not a “Epic” rock star.
For those talking about the confederate flag in the background of Johnny Cash, even Dimebag had a guitar with the confederate flag painted on it.
The stupidest part of it is they’re claiming Cash is the racist like he’s the one who decorated the set.
its not racist, its a piece of American history. the flag represents the southern states of America, not slavery.
