I’m a 46 year old woman and I still get crazy comments relating to my skin color. It always something like you’re cute for a dark skinned woman . When I have my dark skinned little cousin and my brown skinned daughter people automatically think my cousin is my daughter. Like dark skin people can’t have brown babies🤷🏽♀️ I’m not going to lie the comments sting sometimes.

The many colors are the effect of not being purely white while at the same time suggesting there's no pure Blacks. There are pure Blacks though. Our eyes can visually see the racial content of people from pure Blacks to semi-Blacks on down to white.

It has been instilled into me as a child, that OUR skin is the most beautiful skin in the world. Every painting, doll, etc. in the house of every family member was Dark Skinned!!!
