John & Libby Welling tyrions eyes were the best, true character acting in that scene. I like to think he put himself in that scene as a man that grew up small to really get into it which makes it so much better.
the music can foreshadow some crazy things. especially littlefingers theme. it played way back when the starks got the raven from kings landing about jon arryns death - caused by littlefinger
Next week Oberyn Montoya embodies the spirit of all Souls series players... "You're going to fight that?" "I'm going to kill that." Several minutes later. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHGGG"
Oh man, I'm getting some real Red Wedding like guilty feelings welling up, seeing Calvin so excited about the prospects of Oberyn beating the Mountain. He's about to get his emotions crushed again That said, the next few episodes are going to be amazing to see him watch. Probably the best 3 episode stretch the show has ever had. As far as what's on tap, I think the only thing that can top any of them is Hardhome
havok6280 makes sense, I believe that theory as well mostly cuz if her over protectiveness of him and how she watches the reactions between him and Petyr, like she's proud.
Dude, it would be so funny if Jaime was Tyrion's champion! Tywin would be like: "we cannot let him die. Cersei, your champion will now be Samwell Tarly!"
That look on Tyrion's face after Oberyn tell him he will be his champion is one of my most favorite acting ever. Peter Dinklage somehow manages to capture like 10 different emotions from hope to gratefulnes that perfectly capture how most people would feel in that moment. And he does it in like 2 seconds. Absolutely briliant. And just i'm not neglecting Pedro Pascal his line "and what about what i want". The way his voice almost like shivers for a split second is such genius delivery. Goddamn this show was unmatched in it's prime ❤️
I liked that despite that in the books Jon is the one who doesn't want the tunnels sealed, they go ahead and switch roles on the show because it makes more sense.
I just started watching Game of Thrones and had followed you guys before so when I started watching your reaction after every episode alongside my own first time watching and I love it! I love your videos! You are awesome and hilarious!
damnnn Eric you gonna have some fun editing next week- the scythe , janos hiding, ghost , sam ; grenn vs giants, pyps death, ygrittes death, there's so many awesome moments - all I can say is good luck;)
+Blind Wave hafthor bjorsson is actually the only one who is strong enough to carry that sword he's using in in the episode out of whole entire game of thrones cast and set crew.
+Blind Wave Btw he's actually 6' 9"(2,06m), which makes him the shortest out of all the actors who played him, still pretty damn tall and definitely the strongest, he carried a 1,433 pounds (650 kg) log for five steps and he's still only 27 years old, holy shit.
4:05: AND he is only 2 years older than the actor playing Jorjen Reed (Bran's friend) 8:11 : This. This scene right here. This is the scene that breaks my heart and just destroys my soul. The look of utter defeat and then of hope... Peter is one of THE best actors alive today and by far THE best actor on that show.
Next weekend is going to be the greatest weekend ever. *Mountain and the Viper* *_&_* *The Watchers on The Wall.* Two of the best episodes in the entire series in my opinion. Can't wait!
The actor playing the dying farmer is Barry McGovern. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the showrunners and the writers of this episode, are big fans of the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett. Particularly Benioff, who wrote his Master's Thesis on Beckett at Trinity College (where he met Weiss). McGovern is most well known for playing the character of Vladimir in several stage productions and the 2001 film version of Beckett's famous existential play "Waiting for Godot," and the writers intentionally modeled the character and the dialogue from that scene on the play.
His name is Hafþór not Hafthor for anyone in the comments, but I'll let it slide since Þ is an Icelandic letter. But Þór is just the Icelandic version of Thor so that's one of the reasons why he's called Thor.
oh man, the next episode has the most gruesome and traumatizing scene I've ever watched, for me it was worse than the Red Wedding, I was REALLY pissed with Oberyn, George RR Martin, Dan and David, the Mountain, everyone kkkk
That ending! i'm laughing so much right now xDDD i'm not sure if i would dare to discuss all this with Calvin as Eric does, i would be so afraid that Detective Calvin read somehow in my face what is going to happen xD (speaking about the mountain and the viper) PS: oh my god Calvin, that beard! i don't know how i didn't notice it the last video xD
who are the same 3-5 people that don't like these videos and why do they keep watching them if they continuously dislike them. lmao ain't nobody got time for that!
They begin this video talking about a horrific injury. So appropriate. There might be some discussion about a horrific injury in the next GOT reaction as well...
Worst bone breaking experience of my life. Playing basketball...jump for a rebound...hear the sound of three 1/4" branches being snapped over a knee behind me...turn around...see a guy holding a shin that is 90 degrees in the wrong direction....dead silent gym except for him just screaming bloody murder. I will never forget that for the rest of my life.
Hey Eric, next season, would you do me the honor of talking about how the music that plays when Theon kills Rodrick, Robb kills Karstark, and Jon kills Janos is the same? And if you could find out any tidbits about it that would rock. Cheers!
Pretty sure the guys Aria and the Hound kill at the beginning are the same ones who were stuck in the cage with Jaqen Hagar when Aria is headed north to the wall.
Watching these reactions before binging the final season, the Oberyn/Tyrion scene has got to be my favorite of the whole series (followed closely by the Hound "every fucking chicken scene). Its the only scene I had to stop the reaction, comment and then just watch the scene
as tyrion demands a trial by comment, I demand calvin in all the videos (and of course eric). watching these guys brings me back to when I lived in georgia with all my nerd buddies talking about anime or comics. keep up the good work guys
I know this is way late but I just started watching got recently, and even more recently realized you guys reacted to it, so I'm watching these now, and I just felt like mentioning what I wish John had said when the acting commander dismissed his idea, I wish he had said something to the equivalent of "Mance Raider will break in, his giants will tear through the gate and he will invade Westeros, and I hope in your final moments as you watch him skewer you like a pig, that you remember that I gave you a plan that could've saved us all, and that you will have that on your conscience as you descend into the 7th hell.
@blindwave Can we PLZ have the Calvin reaction episodes 3 in a row next weekend?.. With lemon cakes on top?? Agreed they are the best back to back to back episodes & I really dont think i can wait 2 more weeks to see Calvin's back to back to back reactions!!!!😱😱. These last 3 episodes of season 4 just HAVE to be shown all together. Did I say Plz?? Seriously though,......you guys are just freakin awesome. Soooo glad I subscribed last July!! Regards, CaliMom
Everybody talking about detective Calvin but nobody talking about prophet Eric saying that Thor was the official strongest man in the world when he wasn't but became the world's strongest soon after that... how did he KNOW!?!?
Jaime was arguably the best living swordsman in the Seven Kingdoms in Season 1. Ser Barristan was certainly better in his prime, but he is quite a bit older at this point in the story. I think he would have probably beaten the Mountain six out of ten times.
For some reason I commented 41 min ago and since I'm drunk I don't remember commenting at all. Anyway. I'm a big fan, I have watched regularly for the last few months... Ah fuck it, I was gonna comment more but I deleted it cuz I'm drunk and it was nonsense. Seriously, I wish I could meet you guys. You may or may not feel like it but you are pseudo celebrieties. Eric, Shane, Aaron, Calvin, all you fuckers are known all over the country. Hell, probably all over the world. I hope to meet you guys one day. And I really can't wait to see your season 6 reviews. Calvin is so goddamn perceptive that he will be quite the asset for all of us GoT fans once we all start watching season 6 together
He never gets to show how good he is, in either the show or the books. It's all just word of mouth but his achievements are amazing. Selmy (arguably the greatest swordsman in the history of Westeros) says that Jaime is the best natural swordsman he's ever seen. In the battle of the Whispering Wood Jaime single-handedly kills half of Robb's personal guard in hopes of finding and slaying Robb. In second book, he briefly escapes his shackles and kills 10 men before being restrained. Meanwhile The Mountain was brutalizing peasants in Riverlands for 2 books.
I have question for Calvin for next time, I guess. What is hes opinion on Deadpool villain? I remember him hating Dario so much, specialy in season 3, with same actor.
The closest thing we've had to the characters from the series statted out is the ASoIaF RPG. Going by that game the Mountain is pretty freaking strong, but he's only 2/3ds the strength of Hodor. If Hodor got close he could lift up the Mountain and toss him several yards, depending on how well you roll. And strangely enough there is another character who can outlift the Mountain. And no, it's not the Hound. It's Brienne. Sure, the Mountain could beat Brienne without too much effort and Hodor is not a fighter, but they still outbench him. Oh, and in case you wonder about the Cleganebowl: it's close, but going by the stats I'd say that the Mountain wins out.
Can't wait for the battle at the wall, Calvin is going to geek out so hard on that episode. xD Hey guys also try reacting to Star Wars ep 1: Jedi Party and it's continuations it's hilarious AF.
Lysa actually survived. Gendry was rowing past and caught her. Now they solve mysteries.
omg 😂
😂😂😂
lmao
I don’t get it?
@@shanadaddah1998 Sarcastic jokes.
I want Calvin's reaction to everything. Some cameraman needs to follow him around.
+TheOriginalLuffy Pay me in Burger King and for the inevitable legal fees when Calvin eventually catches me follow him and I'll do it.
this.
Yes! We just need a headphone-user-warning before he's about to see a dragon.... My ears are still ringing from the season 1 finale. LOL
TheOriginalLuffy Give the camera to Hobbes.
The Oberon and Tyrion scene is still one of the best non combat scenes. Like ever, in the history of television. imho
John & Libby Welling tyrions eyes were the best, true character acting in that scene. I like to think he put himself in that scene as a man that grew up small to really get into it which makes it so much better.
I agree
18:21 Calvin does it again lol... he's pretty fucking observant, more than I was my first time watching.
chaos isn't a pit, chaos isn't a ladder either. Chaos is a moon door
xD
So many people thrown out windows in this show. Up to and including the plot itself come Season 8 lol
This...This channel is consuming me. I bookmarked because i come here so damn much.
+Unconcerned Ursidae Welcome to the coven.
Yep ditto
oberyn, one of my favorite characters
+Yamilet M RIP
The last scene with Tyrion is my favorite of the entire series
the music can foreshadow some crazy things. especially littlefingers theme. it played way back when the starks got the raven from kings landing about jon arryns death - caused by littlefinger
Lewt Shogun-Shien holy shit I just realized this
Next week Oberyn Montoya embodies the spirit of all Souls series players...
"You're going to fight that?"
"I'm going to kill that."
Several minutes later.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHGGG"
"Today is not the day I die"
-Oberyn, the day he died
Oh man, I'm getting some real Red Wedding like guilty feelings welling up, seeing Calvin so excited about the prospects of Oberyn beating the Mountain. He's about to get his emotions crushed again
That said, the next few episodes are going to be amazing to see him watch. Probably the best 3 episode stretch the show has ever had. As far as what's on tap, I think the only thing that can top any of them is Hardhome
+Jovi Levi :3 I agree. I think they are the perfect episodes.
+Trav _ He may be one of us, but he still has some of his sweet summer child self.
+DELTAJM0310 There is also 'Hardhome' which will make him freak I'm sure :P Made me have a meltdown lol!
Trav _ spoilers man!
I want to see his reaction to Cersei's Trial aka Red Wedding V2 :P
damn you detective calvin guessing everything right constantly!
0:47 foreshadowing....
Hafthor Bjornson (The Mountain) is 6'9" while Hodor is 6'11" fyi...
I totally forgot about the scene where Sansa slaps Robin. I died laughing hahaha
Saw a fan theory that Robin is actually Littlefinger's son...
I would believe it.
havok6280 makes sense, I believe that theory as well mostly cuz if her over protectiveness of him and how she watches the reactions between him and Petyr, like she's proud.
That oberyn and tryion scene made me ball my eyes out, so fantastic!
Probably the best 'hit the button' moment ever there at the end.
LoL Eric that Aragorn line "Only children in our eyes" XD
Dude, it would be so funny if Jaime was Tyrion's champion! Tywin would be like: "we cannot let him die. Cersei, your champion will now be Samwell Tarly!"
That look on Tyrion's face after Oberyn tell him he will be his champion is one of my most favorite acting ever. 6 years ago I started watching you guys with this show and now I’m back rewatching this n house of dragons still love your content thanks guys
I liked that despite that in the books Jon is the one who doesn't want the tunnels sealed, they go ahead and switch roles on the show because it makes more sense.

I love your faces when Olly shows up. Not giving anything away to Calvin, put not hiding your despise (:
Calvin reactions are always enjoyable to see.
His name is actually hafthor bjornsson
+Blind Wave yea im pretty sure hes deserving of that nickname too lol.
but for future refernce im pretty sure its pronounced "half-thor byorn-son"
+Blind Wave hafthor bjorsson is actually the only one who is strong enough to carry that sword he's using in in the episode out of whole entire game of thrones cast and set crew.

+Dr Boom he's 27, the guy who plays Jojen is 25.
+TheAssassinOnAcid or as his enemies know him as, the giant Norwegian killing machine
5:33 we know what that looks about XD hopefully kelvin doesn't take it as hard as the red wedding
4:05: AND he is only 2 years older than the actor playing Jorjen Reed (Bran's friend)
8:11 : This. This scene right here. This is the scene that breaks my heart and just destroys my soul. The look of utter defeat and then of hope... Peter is one of THE best actors alive today and by far THE best actor on that show.
6:09 you can see Eric look at the camera when Bronn says "One misstep and I'm dead".
Next weekend is going to be the greatest weekend ever. *Mountain and the Viper* *_&_* *The Watchers on The Wall.* Two of the best episodes in the entire series in my opinion. Can't wait!
That look when John was holding Olly's shoulder !! haha
Ah man I can't wait for this next weekend. Poor Calvin, once again his excitement will turn to ashes in his mouth.
I really liked Oberyn... too bad he doesn't last much longer... I love Calvin's optimism though
The actor playing the dying farmer is Barry McGovern.
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the showrunners and the writers of this episode, are big fans of the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett. The Mountain and the Viper, and Watchers on the Wall next week. Also Tyrion's speech about his cousin Orson.
A man named Thor!?!? I literally couldn't stop laughing!
When Oberyn finally tells Tyrion he will be his champion you can just see the relief on Tyrion's face
oh man, the next episode has the most gruesome and traumatizing scene I've ever watched, for me it was worse than the Red Wedding, I was REALLY pissed with Oberyn, George RR Martin, Dan and David, the Mountain, everyone kkkk
Gotta say, yesterday's running-from-dogs scene and today Arya's killing of Rorge were the two most weirdly edited scenes of this season.
+Leo Liu Don't forget arya killing random boy in season 1.
Great video as usual. More, we want more :D I cannot wait for episode 8. Poor Calvin :D
You are now my favorite person. been drunk since 10pm waiting on this video. Thank you!
At the time, Hafthor Julius Bjornsson (Thor) was a Worlds Strongest Man competitor, but he didn't win the title until 2018.
Calvins reaction to Thor was so funny hahaha
The mountain broke an over century old record, carrying a huge ass tree a certain distance.
That ending! i'm laughing so much right now xDDD
i'm not sure if i would dare to discuss all this with Calvin as Eric does, i would be so afraid that Detective Calvin read somehow in my face what is going to happen xD (speaking about the mountain and the viper)
PS: oh my god Calvin, that beard! i don't know how i didn't notice it the last video xD

Det. Calvin is on point in strategy against the mountain.
Hey Eric, next season, would you do me the honor of talking about how the music that plays when Theon kills Rodrick, Robb kills Karstark, and Jon kills Janos is the same? And if you could find out any tidbits about it that would rock. Cheers!
oh man we gotta wait till next week to see calvins reaction to the fight?
Eric, to the camera, @ 5:33, "Fuckin' Ollie." Priceless.
Big thumbs up for the button smash alone. LOL Well done, Calvin!
Is the next episode The Mountain vs the Red Viper? Because if so...I cannot wait for next weekend's Calvin reaction.
+Jovi Levi :3 HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
I love the little Ghost toy upfront :)
18:23 Calvin, you brilliant son of a bitch.
I WAS SO NOT CAMPING THEIR CHANNEL
Pretty sure the guys Aria and the Hound kill at the beginning are the same ones who were stuck in the cage with Jaqen Hagar when Aria is headed north to the wall.
Get ready to cry in the next episode Calvin!
Watching these reactions before binging the final season, the Oberyn/Tyrion scene has got to be my favorite of the whole series (followed closely by the Hound "every fucking chicken scene). Its the only scene I had to stop the reaction, comment and then just watch the scene

7:07 i'm dying.. hahahha
as tyrion demands a trial by comment, I demand calvin in all the videos (and of course eric). watching these guys brings me back to when I lived in georgia with all my nerd buddies talking about anime or comics. keep up the good work guys
0:47 ohh noooo, john snow :'(
+Lamar Grow up.
***** Evidently not.
***** Grow up.
***** oh, yes, Jon*
im so sorry, bitch
Man, next weekend is back to back awesomery... HURRY UP WEEKEND
oh man the next 3 episode's reactions will be EPIC,poor calvin
The cuts during the final scene always make me laugh
Awesome as ever guys, keep it going.
GOT Season 6 teaser later also!!!!!!!
That button smash was beautiful.
'he is gonna mess up the mountain' eric: sigh.
Calvin yawns every episode. Therefore, so do I. Love you guys.

Everybody talking about detective Calvin but nobody talking about prophet Eric saying that Thor was the official strongest man in the world when he wasn't but became the world's strongest soon after that... how did he KNOW!?!?
That ending is so fucking perfect.
OMFG THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I BROKE MY ARM. I still have two scars from the surgery to fix it.
Jaime was arguably the best living swordsman in the Seven Kingdoms in Season 1. Ser Barristan was certainly better in his prime, but he is quite a bit older at this point in the story. I think he would have probably beaten the Mountain six out of ten times.
Sucks this format didn’t carry on all the way with just you 2. I love the whole gang but Eric and Calvin reactions are by far the best!
How bad do we think Calvin will flip out next episode?
Did y’all here his theme song play at the end? “Chaos is a latter”
That moment when we all loved Littlefinger for at least a small amount of time.
The HYPE is real, hours before Calvin, the Mountain and the Viper!
#SoExcited
In the books, the mountain is even taller and much stronger than Hodor. And like Bronn mentioned, he's freaky fast for his size.
Cleganebowl!!! Hype hype hype!!!!
+Taylor Compton For the hype is hyper and full of hippies.
+Taylor Compton FUCKN CONFRMD!!!!!!!!
I'm significantly late to the party, but god damn do I love you guys.
Can't wait until next weekend's episodes. Calvin in going to flip his shit.
For some reason I commented 41 min ago and since I'm drunk I don't remember commenting at all. Anyway. I'm a big fan, I have watched regularly for the last few months... That 2nd season Mountain actor also plays the Whitewalkers doesn't he?
+Blind Wave I really like the bonus clip you should put more of than in your videos
Can't wait for next episode :D And with the way it's counted, I still have 2 weeks till I get to watch you guys react to the finale O_O
EXACTLY!!!!! can we PLEEEEEASE get the next 3 reactions in a row??!!!
+A. Marie ikr it happened with 4x2 as well lol
I think at his prime, Jamie would've beaten Mountain with relative ease. He was famous across entire Westeros as one of the best swordsmen ever.
He never gets to show how good he is, in either the show or the books. It's all just word of mouth but his achievements are amazing. Selmy (arguably the greatest swordsman in the history of Westeros) says that Jaime is the best natural swordsman he's ever seen. I have question for Calvin for next time, I guess. What is hes opinion on Deadpool villain? I remember him hating Dario so much, specialy in season 3, with same actor.
Yes! Calvin loves Littlefinger. Watches these now that he's gone :/
This reminds me when the season came out and we had to wait 2 weeks untill episode 8.. :( when does the next one come out??
The closest thing we've had to the characters from the series statted out is the ASoIaF RPG. Going by that game the Mountain is pretty freaking strong, but he's only 2/3ds the strength of Hodor. Oh, and in case you wonder about the Cleganebowl: it's close, but going by the stats I'd say that the Mountain wins out.
that's the thing with the mountain, all it takes is one good hit and bam, it's over
Can't wait for the battle at the wall, Calvin is going to geek out so hard on that episode. xD
Hey guys also try reacting to Star Wars ep 1: Jedi Party and it's continuations it's hilarious AF.
The Sex talk at about 7:00 made me legit laugh.
Hafþór is his name. He played Thor in a Ren faire though.
