    Love the lesson! I never really understood why teachers teach bar chords like they have to bar all the strings. You only have to bar the ones that other fingers are not covering, and that makes it a lot easier for beginners or folks with gorilla hands like me to play them. :)

    you can play it also one step down with G and A minor too and it's easier if ya can't manage the B minor. Many peeps find the lower G key better too.

    Tennessee whiskey is not by Chris Stapleton , this version is. Originally written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove first pitched to George Strait first released by David Alan Coe, then released by George Jones later blused up and released by Chris Stapleton .

      Chris Stapleton has the best version, and big thanks to Justin Timberlake for changing Chris’s life that night in 2015 with that song. The crowd went nuts at the CMA’s that year when Justin’s part came up.

      It is a Martin D1R. They don’t make them anymore but I’ve owned it for about 20 years. My favorite guitar!

    If Maggie is your dog's name you need to do the Chris Stapleton song "Maggie's Song." But you can't cry when you sing it. BTW, great lesson.

    Yeah I have a big problem with bar chords still, I just can't play them for some reason, I think I have arthritis in my hand

    Fun lesson! Gave me a good start.
    Except I think it’s 4 chords and the little intermittent riffs can be played in the F minor pentatonic scale.
    But simple is good. I’ve simplified songs I thought were too complex so my band could learn them quicker.

    Would have rather seen you actually play the song a Little More in its entirety and then go back and explain some of the Dynamics. A hair too much of explanation in the beginning instead of just playing it ... Certainly appreciate your time though and video. It's just some people learn more by watching then listening to talk. Of course you're going to have to explain a little in the back end of the video. Thank you though once again. Just my thoughts
