    Oh my gosh! You're the best teacher ever!! You have such good spirit, I can actually feel the fruits of the spirit pouring out of you! Patience, kindness, compassion! You were made for this! I feel so comfortable and taken care of when I watch your stuff! I'm not trying to overwhelm everybody but y'all know her stuff is soothing! But yea I just had to stop and share some love and give credit where credit is due, because you're doing it girl! People can actually tell that you genuinely care about people and your audience and helping to share your skills with the world ❤ so thank you for brightening my morning just by letting me see your light shine ☀️ and reminding me that there still are good things and good people left in this world! Keep up the good work sista!! 😊

    Well done. Great enthusiasm.
    I find Bm7 works just fine for Bm here. And it's perfect for this song because you just have to lift your finger off the B string when you play D chord.
    So you go from Bm7 to D with no other movement except ADDING one finger. Strum the same 4 strings.

    You dear lady ❤️, deserve a medal, trophy and accolades 👏👏👏👏 I apologise for the following essay as it's much longer than a comment 😅.
    You have me picking up my guitar every single day since I seen you're first video ❤️. Two weeks ago I joined a music group, I'm 60 soon and there's a lovely young chap in early 20,s , both us never played before. I've wanted to all my life and bought my pink second hand acoustic nearly ten yrs ago. Sitting in a shrine area, looked at, dreamt off and tried unsuccessfully to play til recent. I am sure you realise you are the best on RUclips! And believe me I've saturated my head and still got nowhere, fast!
    Now I'm getting it! Slowly but at my second group they said I'm picking it up quicker than thought!
    That's major for me dear as with ADHD, bipolar 😅, life's been a journey alright and I took up art classes few years ago which obviously taught me patience as this goal has been with me always, music is a major part of my well being and thanks to you, I'm thinking I'm going to get this 👍

      @dennismcwhertersr.1768 Put your headphones on and listen to the song. I am a musician and have been playing for over 35 years. I play many different instruments, and my two main ones are piano/keys and lead guitar. The problem I have had and continue to have with musicians is the fact they, like yourself, listen to the song but NOT the music. When you start using tabs, that are written by other individuals such as yourself, is where you start going wrong. I know you're intentions are good, but PLEASE teach your students the correct way. I have collected many pieces of software over time, one of them is a very good one called RIFFSTATION. What this does is read the song, then picks out the main notation you can see it as it scrolls across the screen. Please check this out. Thank you.

    What is that guitar a 324ce? Is it full mahogany?

    • @LaurenBateman
      @LaurenBateman  9 месяцев назад +1

      It's Urban Ash wood. 324ce builders edition

      Wow, I got the 324 all mahogany and it misses a slight bit of the highs and lows that it sounds like you may get with the urban ash back and sides. Awsome guitar!!!

    • @LaurenBateman

      This is a Taylor 324ce Builder’s Edition. Any major online guitar retailer should have them. I got mine through Sweetwater.

    Everyone else seems to be doing it with only 2 chords. This sounds better and the right way to play it. They also play the lead part different without as many sides and again this sounds like the right way to play it. I would rather learn right the first time than trying to back track what I've learned.
