I have the first generation RS3 and sometimes I wonder if I should upgrade to a more recent model. It's video's like these that wake me up again and make me love my car too much to get rid of it. Just bought one, finaly they got me. Always liked N/A cars but with todays taxes if you want a fast car thats just not possible anymore so I bought an rs3 8p, bought it with a build engine, pistons, rods, crank, has a TTE500 turbo and some other mods done but the car has it problems even tho the mileage is very low, luckely I had warranty because I think there is something wrong with the dsg, probably clutch and/or mechatronic, goes like stank tho already and only has 449hp and 613nm ( soon to be 510-520hp and 700ish nm) after I get it sorted out and tuned by my own tuner. Can't imagine how this thing flies when I know how fast mine already felt. Any particular things I have to look out for like the wobble I have been hearing about?
@@Saschimii I mean like when you are driving it feels like people are standing next to it left and right and shake the car very very lightly, it's the only way I can explain it, sounds stupid I know but thats what it feels like and when it's happening it's just the car, no vibrations or anything in the steering wheel it's so weird but many people seem to have the ''problem''
I’m going to do a similar modification on my RS3 8P. What about turbo lag? The OEM turbo boost starts at about 2700rpm; what is the new value with the big turbo? I’m afraid of driveability loss. Thanks and greetings from Italy.
Also can I pls get the offsets from the wheels, width from wheels back and front, tyres front and back and ET vallue, would be so nice and thx ahead! Never mind I saw in the description, just the ET values would be nice to have.

I had it 2 times but not for a while now. About the ET value, why not et43? You have tyrerub going on? I also see you have a square tyre setup and some people say when they did that the wobble got worse so I seem to think it has something to do with either allignement or wheel balancing or both.
@@swansmeister with ET43 you only have Problems. The Conti SC6 is the only tyre that fit with this lowering. With ET45 is 2Milimeters More Space, this can rescue a lot. I habe no Problems with wobble, i think the Problem are the different outside Diameters or different tyres.

Hi Rs3 community, can anyone recommend a cool garage in the Geneva (CH) region? anywhere in a 90 minute radius, doesn't matter if in France or Switzerland. I'd like to get some simple work done, but looking for a place where I can hang around, learn a bit, be part of the community.
Our comments ain't worth it, car manufacturers don't listen anymore, their only objective is to make a low sounding car, they don't care about fans and buyers, they listen to the EU commity of regulations and emissions, Audi sport is not making any effort in producing fast RS cars anymore.

For the Nürburgring you Need Maximum negative camber to prevent understeer.
