I wish they would have kept the magnetic ledge for screws from the older drills. I loved that feature of being able to hold a few screws magnetically to the base. It was very convenient .

Oddly enough... I love that stupid magnet... I will miss that on my hammer drill, but I'm more weirded out that the handle doesn't move to other angles. So far I've only found that it goes in the left or right... No other angle... Unless I'm missing something on mine. It's nice in tight spots to be able to rotate that handle

The performance improvement with the 3Ah HP battery isn't just due to higher capacity, but this P195 is the only Ryobi battery I know of with 21700 cells. Ryobi seems to have decided to abandon these and stick to 18650 cells, as they don't seem be selling these anymore

That’s unfortunate. If they made a higher ah stack with them, it would unlock more of their tools performance potential. I guess they may have made a conscious decision to maybe keep the tech with their other brands to keep the tool tiering more obvious.. who knows..

Another case of Ryobi/Ridgid performing too well. Probably same reason why RIDGID stealth force and octane line were discontinued. All hail Milwaukee 😂

Who doesn't seem to be selling 21700 cells?

Since this video, they released new high capacity batteries with 21700 cells, and will soon release "tabless" batteries with higher discharge rate (at lower capacities too), so that all seems promising

Why wouldn't you use a 6 or 5 amp hour battery?

I'm still searching for a video that shows the hammer only function works.

these types of drills do not have a hammer only function.
If you want a hammer only function tool, you need to look at sds rotary hammers.

Quick question, I bought mine today and noticed the silver thing next to the chuck is very loose to the point that it sounds like a loose metal when using the drill is this normal?

    • @darrenthompsett5578

It's normal it's like that for when the chuck comes into contact with material it won't run and damage the material or drill

You don't look like a guy who works with high-powered tools.
