  • This is a full frame off restoration of a beautiful classic and one that sets the bar for period correct restorations!
Dave Shultz had the best Chevelle in the Smokies with his perfectly restored 1967 Super Sport. Chevelles in the Smokies took place place in the Le Conte Centre Pigeon Forge Tennessee last weekend and Dave's restoration and attention to details is shown in this interview. I had a great time seeing the fine details Dave went through in order to mimic exactly what the '67 Chevelle SS would have looked like coming out the factory in 1967. This restoration includes numbers matching parts, exact paint color as well as other precise details that would have taken place during the inspection before the car went out for sale in 1967.

Amazing 67 Chevelle SS, one of my favorite cars from the 1960´s. Dave can be proud of this
Chevelle renovation. Thanks Rana for a great video! 👍

Wow, Rana this 67 Chevelle is a very special car in my opinion because it has a four on the floor 4 speed transmission. I don't think Dave even mentioned this highly coveted option. I'll have to watch the video again. Thanks Rana!

I've been building these 67's since the early to mid 70's and consider myself to be as numbers correct knowledgeable as most anyone. Dave, your Chevelle is absolutely gorgeous and I notice the minor details that most overlook. Your bottom bucket seat trim is interior color matching (Correct) Your headlight trim and grill extensions are blacked out correctly to match the grill, and many many more details that you nailed perfectly. I haven't seen the cowl plat but I'm assuming F-F Paint with 731 Interior? Man, I've had many of these, seen many unmolested originals and this one is indeed the best restoration that I've seen.. Great JOB! I'm jealous
