They have been very careful with the air force precisely to avoid huge losses, like what happened with their tanks for example. Airplanes are very expensive and can't be replaced quickly. Tanks can be produced much faster, plus they have a huge stockpile of old ones that can be refurbished and modernized. This is probably why the Russian air force hasn't really been used much, only now when Ukraine is on this new offensive the Russians are using their air force quite a bit.
The su-25 is pretty tanky but due to typical russian shithousery the base model doesn't even have a optical targeting pod and the version that does have a pod the pod is massive. And there isn't many of them just like there isn't many of the tu-95 that fires most of their cruise missiles and by the way is a propeller plane that is largely based of the b-29. The ammount of jets that actually have flir camera pods in the ru airforce is embarrassing. The fact that they didn't gain air superiority is fucking funny considering the ammount of jets they had.
I’m hardly in the same skill class as Malz, but I’ll say that the one premium vehicle that feels truly unfair to me is the Des Moines, but since I’m the one in it annihilating bot Helenas I’ll give it a pass 🤣

Yea noticed that yesterday, i can't see shit for like 5-7 seconds after Rocket launch lol. WTF are they doing with this game, su-25 again took 2 rolands, destroyed me, i spawned with Abrams, hit him again many times with machine guns including 2 crits, he was burning which i think was like he farted on my tries to kill him, and he just casually fly away to the airfield. Very balanced game, no other plane needs to take so much Rockets to kill it, only superior ruska technika. Fuck this game
@@Rio_SenpaiYT top tier SPAA was frankly a bit strong against fixed wing CAS in general to be honest (the pantsir still is bullshit) but its still not strong enough against Helicopters.
Not that warthunder is close to accurate on missiles but from footage In Ukraine you can tell that not only does the missile take a long time to ride the beam but that it's quite innacurate sometimes. But obviously being pro Russia means just denying everything.

@@cptlogger2948 tbf brimstone wasn't mounted to helis in the UK (I think the US done a trial with them tho), they were mounted to tornado gr.4 and typhoon fgr.4 and there are prototypes for ajax and boxer to carry brimstone.
I'm on a controller so I do it weird, Left stick is both pitch AND throttle, but the Throttle is engaged by a seperate keybind added in to keep it non functional while I'm maneuvering.
I thought you couldn't spam the Vikhrs missiles anymore, just tested it on the KA50 and you can still guide all 12 missiles onto someone, am I missing something?

I like how essentially every air to ground heli based missile got nerfed handling except the vikhrs, by far the most op of them

Yes, but you can choose other keys too. I use shift and control for pitch but I think most use it for throttle
