You can tank stingers, but you dont need to do ANY maneuvers. Just fly straight line. Ideally works on planes with long noses with radar and 2 pilots (like F-4E). Also works if you have armored capsule around pilot (hello Su-25). On A-10 it works sometimes, because it doesnt have anything
The a10 has armor, the su25 is just broken damage model wise, only the su25 can reliably tank stingers, and you should maneuver if you can because the stingers have low G’s

@@cameronchase4071 right, because 2 more superior missile, 6 TV guided basicly fire and forget missile (what dont trigger laser warning reciver), thermal sight amd much more ammo only worth 0.3 higher BR than a plane what has only laser guided missile, basicly no sight, only 2 totaly nerfed missile (r-60m is intercepted even by a bird fart in game) and much less gun ammo and having "better" kinematic performance is the least to make su-25 "equal" to a-10, though i find a-10s with full load easily outturn my su-25 as for damage model thats BS, usa 20mm rip su-25 apart with almost 1 shot, a-10 tank russian 23mm like its made of cotton candy
@@katyushatman5187 tv guided aren't great the lock breaks easily and for some reason their damage is gimped. I've slapped a lot of ruskies tanks with a walleye to the forehead and gotten hit. The A-10 is also much slower and can be killed by pretty much every AA at its br. Dumbfire ordinance is worse as well often needing multiple hits to even kill while the SU-25 can just launch an HE rocket that can kill MBTs 3 postal codes over. The same thing you're bitching about the A-10s turn applies to the SU-25 against other jets.
I hate how durable the A10 is I was in a custom battle with my homie and I was flying in a Mig-21S and I shoot his left wing clean off just the very tip and he's still fucking able to fly
