TYSM!! my local repair shop said "they're just dead", but this worked on BOTH of my wireless 2014 xbox 360 controllers

@@jamesjames7236 ? i'm not lying. i went to ubreakifix and the associate told me that there was nothing he could do, that the controllers were "just dead" but i followed this tutorial and was able to get both of them to turn on. the fix still works to this day and i use the controller to play Dragon Ball FighterZ

Thanks, that worked. For perhaps an easier method of cramming something in there, try cutting a small section of the stem of a Q-tip.

I was soooo skeptical.
Did not work on first try so I made a thicker piece of paper, failed again, scrolled down to the comments, then whacked it a little and it started working!
I am very impessed.

Worked for one controller on the 2nd try, after adding a little more paper. Didn't work on the 2nd one, which has some corrosion and other issues,.

I just wanna add then this fix will only work on oem battery case with switch on center. Chinese replacement battery case have one solid metal plate without problematic switch.
