I love it but I don't understand my pastels, when I want to be smoothing over, I end up taking the colour off in globs and the white won't go over the top. Are the expensive sets of oil pastels that much easier to work with? Thnx

After applying linseed oil or thinner for blanding with oil pastels, could I apply fixative or varnish directly? How long should I wait for the linseed oil to dry before varnishing it? Does acrylic varnish work on linseed oil or thinner?

Which peper better for oilpastel drawing.!!!!!!!!
Now, I usually used kent paper.(soft paper)
Rough paper is good because the texture expression great,
and soft-surface paper is good because it shows great gradation.
Try both and choose the right one for you😁
How to blend it as smooth as that? I already use oil but it won't come out like that?
I think it's the product difference. How about mixing some oil?😁
@@greartmaker i already bought a mingyo soft pastel and every time i blend it using a swab with oil it's like taking off the pastel or it just doesn't look like yours, i don't know maybe the pressure. It always have spots i mean the pastel will have spots. Can you make a video tutorial of blending that will end up like your art work?
