Such a great video. I started preparing for Sunday meals on Saturdays when my kids were young. Wanted Sundays to be easy days with worship & family time. Thank you for sharing! Hoping you all are doing ok… haven’t seen a post in a month.. 🙏🙏🙏🙌💞
I bot my Bosch mixer in 1995. About 10 years ago we replaced a "belt" they called a transmission. My husband did it. It is still going strong. I bake 5 loaves of bread about every 10 days. It is a true workhorse and I wouldn't have any other kind. Great for cookies and homemade marshmallows, too. The blender is really powerful, also.
This is beautiful. We take a Sabbath off too. We love borrowing traditions from our Jewish ancestors. The woman of the house lights the candle and says evening prayer. The father bless us, his wife and children.
I have never heard of a bosch mixer. I have survived twenty years as a housewife without anything but a handheld mixer (I make breads and such by kneading by hand). Your oven is always so lovely to see! It is always interesting to see who uses sour cream in their mashed potatoes and who doesn't. I am a milk and butter mashed potatoes lady. I do like sour cream on my baked potatoes though. It was great seeing you prepare your meal with your family and then sit down to eat it together. Yey!
Thanks for teaching the squash soup I’m now feeling confident about giving it a try. I love my Bosch mixer . I’ve had it for 40yrs. I did have to replace the beaters at one point because I should’ve switched over to the bread hook sooner. 🤦♀️🤷♀️😂
I LOVE my Bosch mixer, Leslie! Such a time saver for large quantities of food 😍 Just use cold water when you mix breads because the motor is below the bowl and keeps things nice and warm.
Hi, just came across your channel. Beautiful family, God bless you all. I was just shocked at how much ready package food you use…chicken broth, can tomatoes bought eggs, and so on. I realize it’s a lot of work to run your household, but a farm family depending on other modern sources for food!!!!
Also, this is such an inspiring idea! I love the foods your family eat - so beautifully homemade. Lots of love and lots of nutrition. Thank you for sharing this with all of us!
Wao, I love this, watching from Uganda, here in my office planning for something similar. Thanks for the great inspiration... I would like the recipe for the bread please. Thanks
I have had my Bosche for over ten years. It makes small amounts as well as large. I sell bread for my church and it makes a lot of dough. Easy to clean up too. I highly recommend it. Would you share tom soup ingredients please? Blessings from North bay Ontario.
That baby getting big, time for little sister now, the boys are outnumbering the girls lol I always wanted a set of twin boys even tho I was in my 40s. I had my last 2 in early 40s. I did not get twins at all 🥺
My husband and I researched for months and thought we were going to get the Bosch mixer. Then I found out about the Ankarsrum mixer. A bit more of an investment but beyond worth it.
I LOVE my DLX (it was branded that in the 90s when I got it, now it is the Ankarasum) Have most all accessories too. Still want the roller attachment. I really was thinking my grain mill could do rolled flakes because I’m just dumb like that. Guess what, it can’t 🤪 It’s just for in case we are grid down and fuel is scarce. Being able to flake the grain would make it cook a whole lot faster.
I placed an order for the B complex with your link. They are saying they do not have my order. I tried contacting them because I forgot to put the code in that you shared for 10 % off.
I've heard some mixed reviews on the ankershrum, but i feel like people were mostly concerned about the price? I'm concerned my kitchen aid will bounce off the counter 😆 BUTTERNUT SQAUSH SOUP 1 squash peeled and cubed One onion sliced Avocado oil (to drizzle) Salt Pepper 3 cups chicken stock On a sheet pan, place onion and squash and drizzle with oil, salt and pepper. Bake at 475°f until soft and golden In a blender, add softened squash with stock and blend until smooth. If you like this a little bit thinner, continue to add chicken stock until you like. I like mine a little bit thick 🥹
@leslie__burris My Mom had a 7 qt kitchen aid that was a genuine work horse! She later got a Bosch after hearing all the hype, but she never loved it. It wasn't built quality and little things broke here and there. Also it wouldn't stay on the counter without moving. From my experience, Bosch works well for mixing wetter things, but the larger kitchen aid is where it's at for mixing/kneeding doughs. Upgrade to a bigger size tho, the ones with a tilt head just don't satisfy 😁
Another inspiring video! Thanks for sharing your DITL ❤ Your channel is now one I look forward to watching... it's so peaceful!

The way you seamlessly handle dough is so inspiring! Dough has always intimated me because I can't work it. I"m sure I just need to practice.
I felt the same way when i started. Very clunky! But it gets better.

I love the big bread bowl with the glass lid! Where did you find that?
Really love seeing God’s Word being read! We need to know His Word, so we can hear His voice. ❤
Love it!! Also where did you get the potato masher? I need that!
❤❤❤❤❤ from Charlotte North Carolina😊😊😊
Your beef liver gummies sound amazing! Can't wait till they're back in stock.
They’re not just liver but a combo of organs

It seems like everywhere I look lately, people are talking about Sabbath/rest day!! That can't be a coincidence. I've been feeling convicted!
❤love your content. How long do the eggs go in the instapot, please?
I love my Bosch mixer. In fact, I sent my KitchenAid mixer with my daughters to college because I don’t ever use it.
I really want to upgrade but man i use my kitchen aid attachments all the time 😆😫
Another great bideo
Was fur wunderschone kinder❤
Love the videos. Where did you get the large bowl with the lid for your sourdough? That is exactly what I need for mine. You have a beautiful family.
I ask same thing!! She got it when she was antiquing...I have been looking everywhere for one. If you find one please share!!
@@vickeypierce293 I will, the closest I found was wayfair but it is only a 3 quart.
Bom dia, adoro ver como faz seus paes, eu faço também pão de fermentação natural, sou do Brasil, fica com Deus, um abraço.

REALLY?! I mean, practically the only reason I would want that one over the Bosch is because of how it would look on my counter. 😆😜

The kitchen Aid that does not have the tilt head is not bouncy.
Hallo, ich lebe in Deutschland und ich habe auch Kitchen aid❤...ich würde es nicht tauschen wollen.😊
Copper pots should not go in the dishwasher. Neither should cutting knives or aluminum pans. Please look it up for yourself.
You need a bigger kitchen aid.
Should i upgrade to the Bosch? I'm hearing good things....
