hell yea, it's a good time to get into these considering the first ep of season 2 just came out. and definitely need to see hazbin hotel, considering it'll be coming out to a streaming service before too much longer.
It gets more crazier within each episode you need to prepare this show is hilarious 😂

There’s something so entertaining about hearing the voice of Invader Zim swearing
the first few episodes are pretty funny and good for cartoon standards, but the show really kicks off in episode 5. they just keep putting out absolute bangers.
you will enjoy this series. Pay attention to as many little details and text as possible as well, tons of stuff to unpack in this show.

You should heck out Brandon Rogers channel he’s the voice of Blitz. He’s essentially the Mad Hatter of RUclips. He has so many characters and has been a fan favorite sketch comic of RUclips for years! I’d suggest starting with his Grandpa Hates series

This was supposed to be a sister sequel series to hazbin hotel. You know, like the Jeffersons to all in the family.
But this blew up so fast that I don't think they ever finished the first season of hazbin...

Btw, episode 7 is the last episode of season 1. Episode 8 is essentially a bonus episode that has yet to get released due to some complications with, as I might've heard right, copyright or something along those lines? So, that may be why. I'm only past episode 6 tho

This Show is so awesome. It has some big names for guest voice actors who voice important characters, the humor is dark, the Animation is amazing (gets better with each episode).
One thing tho, Stolas (horny Owl Dude) and Millie (Moxxies wife) will get new VA.

First show/thing in my life where I can say that I am a fan of. I love e the design, the characters, their relation with each other and how each member of the cast, writers and artist seems (to me a least) to have fun doing it.

Yep, the kid is in room 666! Good catch. There are other lil tidbits in the background esp in these early episodes. You've already done ep 1 so I won't spoil anything in saying when Blitzo mentions about getting a billboard and we see a billboard in ep 1.
But a few other things in this pilot=
1- when Moxie complains about how awful Loon is, we see her phone as a pic of Moxie's head ... she's playing a game where she kills Moxie over and over.
2- When Doc says "I'm not loosing another one" we see a x-ray on the wall that has a crowbar in the chest
(you already caught the room 666)
3- when they are throw out the window, there is one window where "HELP" written backwards and looks to be writen in blood.
edit- You're one of the few react videos that catch the "playbill" and golden record on the wall. Another sign of Moxie having musical background (besides his snobbing the jingle) is his living room's wallpaper is musical notes.
Speaking of which... the creators actually took that stop motion music at the end and made it into a real music video titled "Oh Millie"
It's an amazing series. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Yes it's in Hell. In this series (and in Hazbin Hotel) Hell has 7 levels called Rings, which each is ruled by a prince. The first level is the Pride Ring, which is ruled by Lucifer. Lucifer is also King of all of Hell, and is not same being as Satan. The Pride Ring is where all Sinner demons (formerly humans) exist as they are not allowed in other Rings.
Pride Ring is segmented into circles, innermost has Pentacle City. Imp City is in the 2nd circle, so next section out from Pentacle City. So far all we've seen of Pride Ring are these two cities.

So if you want some lore context on Hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss (as spoiler free as I can give it), here it goes:
Hazbin Hotel (HH for short) and Helluva Boss (HB for short) are two shows that both take place in the same universe, but revolve around different characters in different places in hell. HH only has a Pilot right now, but is signed with A24 studios for a full season on the way. HB just started Season 2 and gets paid for by Patreon money.

Yes, Millie and Moxxie are married
Most characters in HB are considered "Hellbound" demons, aka demons who were born in hell to begin with, and were never human (which is why they don't know what insurance is). This includes Moxxie, Millie and Blitzo (Pronounced Blitz), who are all Imps, Luna who's a Hellhound, and Stolas (Horny bird dude), who's a member of the Ars Goetia family (demon royalty basically, VERY powerful). You'll find many more Hellbound demons in the series, as well as a few Sinners (demons who USED to be human then fell into hell when they died)
The reason most characters in this show are Hellbound is because Hell is split into 7 circles, one for each deadly sin. Sinners only have access to the 7th "Pride" Ring, while Hellbounds have access to all 7 rings and can move freely between them. You can find Hellbounds in the 7th ring (for example, there's Charlie, the main character of Hazbin Hotel) but you can't find Sinners in any other ring. HH mostly takes place in the pride ring, so you'll see many more sinners in that show, but HB takes place in many different rings.
There's also a hierarchy of which demons are stronger/have more influence than others, and I'll try to explain it as spoiler-free as possible. Here's the overall ranks from top to bottom
Lucifer (King of Hell)
Charlie's Mom
Charlie (she's nice and humble but she's actually insanely powerful. She even demonstrates Reality-warping abilities during a musical number)
The 7 Deadly Sins (each ring is controlled by one. Lucifer has control of the Pride Ring. We'll meet at least 1 in HB)
The Ars Goetia family (Stolas is here, but we'll meet others)
Overlords (Sinners who've gained considerable power somehow, we'll meet at least 1 in HH)
Sinners/Hellbounds (various demons of various amounts of power)
Imps/Hellhounds (the bottom of the barrel demons, usually thieves, servants or bodyguards to more powerful demons)
Hope all this gives some context on stuff.
