Why are babies so fragile anyways? Why can't we all just be born as teenagers so no one has baby holding anxiety? Stupid babies never consider other people and their problems.
@@coltonwilkie241 Unironically its because women are losing the arms race of Pelvis opening size vs baby heads. All other mammals of our weight class (that birth singular young) have way longer pregnancies and they come out way more ready for life. This is because we evolved to move upright with a focus on intelligence. So our babies have to be born with massively overproportioned heads and they WOULD gestate longer, but then they would be unable to be born because their head would be too large for the opening. Because we walk upright we are also incapable of carrying babies that are too heavy, which wouldn't be a problem if we weren't nature's weirdo mammal and would just walk on all fours like all other mammals, the we could also evolve a larger pelvis etc etc. Evolution doesn't perfect anything, it just does the bare minimum necessary for reproduction.
Ehhhh that's a Resident Evil staple at this point. You should immediately expect any villain in an RE game to morph into some horrendous creature of tentacles and flesh.
