Skylar Street - Odd, huh? JR and Bobby were also the wealthiest brothers, each owning nearly a third of Ewing Oil and having financially benefited from the company for years. Ray had it the best - owning his own slice of Southfork, with his own house but with some distance from the drama at the main house.
In the pilot season they lived in separate houses. They would have meals at the main house. They had a different house in the mini-series in 1978. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloyce_Box_Ranch
Well, when I worked as a cleaning lady in offices, that's what I saw too. Bottle at the ready, right there in the office room. Hmm ... Clear - headed, sharp decision making? And that was in one of the bosses' office.
Ray is right here. Bobby was always so damn quick to lecture everyone else. It would have been much better for the series if Bobby and Pam had delayed the wedding here and never gotten remarried. Victoria had made it clear she planned to leave the show at the end of the season and the writers backed themselves into a corner by having them married and then trying to explain the character's departure.
I totally agree. It was ridiculous to have them re-marry since Victoria Principal was leaving the show. It would have been much better if they had had Bobby and Jenna get together and then Pam simply could have left and gone to Europe or something.

@Derek Mathews If he married Pam again in the end it meant he loved her more than Jenna. And it's unfair and cruel from JR's part to expect from Jenna to come and crash the wedding. @@marinagreco4026 Yes although Ray was given his share because he was Jock's son. Why would Bobby's son not have the same birth right? I know people that have been in this situation. The child had the their birth father's last name. They were told when they were old enough to understand who their biological father was. My niece was in this situation. Her bio father named her in his will. He paid child support although her step father was more of a full time time dad.
The way things worked, Bobby and Jenna wouldve been married had it not been for the Naldo Marchetta affair. Had Naldo not been murdered and Jenna framed for it, Bobby would not have run back to Pam and fallen in love with her again.
That was Katherine attempt to break up bobby and Jenna. But it ended up with bobby remarrying pam. Katherine pushed bobby and pam back together after splitting them up
Pam makes me sick, she divorced Bobby ran around with Mark, was jealous when Bobby got on with his life, came back remarried Bobby and was jealous of a baby he made with his fiance, she divorced him for nothing in the first place....he shouldn't have even took her back, with her selfish self
I hated that he didn’t end up with jenna- i always loved their backstory and history as childhood sweethearts - in the reboot if bobby couldn’t be with pam it should have been jenna that he ended the show with by his side and their son lucas
Ray turned into a knob during his last full season. The way be treated Charlie a d cheated on Jenna. He was also being a prick to Bobby.. To be fair tho he seemed better when he came back for a few episodes the next season to help with the range war
I have not seen the series made in 2012 but it seems to me that in the original series, Ray divorces Donna despite the pregnancy of his wife and the birth of their daughter because they move away because of their respective ambitions. Donna wants to become a politician and Ray wants to live in his property. Then, I remember Ray helping Jenna face her new life (she has to find a house, a job ...) then he ends up offering her to live with him after learning about her pregnancy. If I remember correctly, Ray eventually became the official father of Jenna and Bobby's son. On the other hand, I don't remember if Jenna and Ray get married then Charlie goes to Paris. It also seems to me that Ray and Jenna then wanted to go to Europe with their son in order to join Charlie in Paris but I don't remember if they did or not. Bobby has no right about this child because he doesn't claim him as his son. So, I guess the appearance or not of Bobby and Jenna's son may not have been deemed necessary if he feels like he is advancing Ray's son. Are Ray and Jenna in the 2012 series?
I actually wish Bobby and Jenna had ended up together. I think it was stupid to have him re-marry Pam since Victoria Principal had already handed in her notice that she would not be returning after the season was over. Plus, he looked like a total sleazebag re-marrying Pam after proposing to Jenna and getting her pregnant.
Victoria likes to say now that she gave them two years’ notice. In reality, she was negotiating a new contract for the next season. The sticking points were: she wanted salary parity with Patrick Duffy, who got a big raise when he returned to the show; and she wanted a one-year contract renewal, and the producers wanted two.
D Surrey- Ray did not seem to treat Jenna as great as he should have either. It seemed like both got together on the rebound from others. If Susan Howard had not been fired I bet Ray and Donna would have stayed together, Jenna and Ray were so mismatched, no chemistry in my eyes. When Ray and Donna were happy they were a perfect couple. As Susan was leaving they turned him into a self centered jack ass so the couple would split giving the reason Donna would leave.
D Surrey- And Jenna looked so unhappy with Ray. I don't think she ever smiled when they were together. LoL....NO CHEMISTRY at all. They were one of Dallas' most boring couples. Big Fail with the writers. Ughhhh!😩
@@thebigloc1 OMG, I had no idea Susan Howard had been fired from the show! But I agree: Ray and Donna were a good match. Ray and Jenna were a total mismatch. There was zero chemistry between them.
Bobby is Lucas' biological father but he never recognized this child as his because he was married to Pamela when Jenna gave birth. In fact, Lucas was then recognized by Ray as his son.
This pregnancy storyline was a dumb idea. Just like making Pam a stay at home wife instead of running Barnes Wentworth with Cliff the move that caused Victoria to leave at the end of this season was also as bad.
It was her idea to divorce Bobby in the first place, even though he hadn't cheated on her, and even though she was living in the lap of luxury thanks to him. She was too high-maintenance for her own good.
SingleTax Why the hell did Pam leave Bobby like 3 or 4 times if she loved him so much?.....Some love!! You are supposed to stay with your husband through thick and thin...Seemed liked she only wanted him desperately when he was with Jenna. She found every damn excuse in the world to get her ass on Southfork when Jenna was in the picture. Very disrespectful!
I think this was a genius idea for Jenna to get pregnant in the midst of Pam and Bobby wedding. We are always talking about how Bobby is the good brother and Jr. is the dog. It shows that Bobby is human and makes mistakes like everybody else. Jr. has had mistress and random women coming in and out of his life and it drove Sue Ellen crazy. Jenna Wade getting pregnant was a test as to how strong Pam and Bobby love for each other really was
Actually Pam and Bobby's love was not that strong, once a fight between her brother and ewings broke out she always sided against Bobby and the ewings. Pam was very selfish towards Bobby, it was always about her, than him, never about them. Jenna never put that pressure on him maybe that why with her he was more at ease.
I didn't feel bad for Bobby at all. For the love of god, they should have been happy about it, and move on. I agree with you James Kennedy. I thought Bobby remarrying Pam was the stupidest thing he ever did for the love of god. He should have just married Jenna, and they should have raised their baby boy together. If they had raised Lucas together, things might have been different for them in the end. Overall, JR didn't like a lot of people, but he definitely liked Jenna.
He loved Pam and always will. Why would you condone him being with Jenna? He wouldve married Jenna just because she had his baby? No no no that marriage wouldn't last because it was based on only out of obligation.
@@donnamiller5222 Why should she tell Bobby? He dumped her to marry Pam. Dumb (IMHO) but you can't always talk people out of the dumb stuff they are going to do.
Bobby love life was always chasing what was once, he was not more in love with Pam than Jenna, he was after the magic they had in the beginning and tried to rekindle that magic, that had vanished, Years later he realized that it would have never worked out, too many things stood in between them. Even when married to Pam, each time Jenna appeared, he also tried to rekindle the magic they once shared, only stopping short because he was married. Probably if he married Jenna it would have worked out better, she had more in common with him than Pam ever had. It would also have avoided the drama he was to face after Pam left, with April etc.
This wedding should have never happened. The magic between Bobby and Pam had disappeared by then. Bobby was a hypocrite in his actions following the revelation which was out of character. Jenna would have provided more stability to him, with Pam all sorts of issues used to come up between them. Pam never really understood his world nor wanted. Jenna grew up in that world and knew what was expected of her. Had Jenna stayed with Bobby he would have been spared all the drama he had to face when Pam left, when April was killed etc
Bobby may have been Jock's favorite son, but he is also very self-righteous and spoiled. Had he not been Jock's son, and had JR not spent years building up the family fortune and the Ewing name, Bobby would have had nothing.
@Ana Quinn yes showed how bobby would had turned out without Jr and jock. He was a down on his, luck gambler with broken marriage and kids . He still had morals and guts tho ...but was not successful.
I never liked Pam, she has such horrible nerve to have been mad that Bobby got Jenna pregnant, HELLO they were engaged and Pam is the one who walked away from Bobby and she was bedding Mark Grayson so get over it, I just never liked her and then on top of that, It was Pam's OWN sister who had Jenna sent to prison for Naldo's death. Pam was that one chic who could not stand not being the center of attention. She did not want Bobby until he was with Jenna, she was already with mark. Just a horrible character honestly.
EVELYN JACKSON Jenna and Raye Cribs got Married and Bobby soon gave up his Rights as Lucas Father to Raye since Bobby AlReady made his discision to let Raye Raise his Son Lucas. Later On Raye and Jenna Moved Away from Dallas to Have a Better Chance of Being a Family.

Definition of 'soap' is lots of incredible ridiculous cliffhangers chased by soap commercials for comic relief. Dallas was great while it lasted due to marvelous casting of original players...J.R, Sue Ellen, Bobby, Pam, Cliff, Miss Ellie and Jock, Ray and Lucy. Ancillary players over the years kept it stoked, but the Romeo and Juliet theme tugged at your heartstrings and JR'S evil doing never ceased to amaze. Katzman had lightning in a bottle and money and contract issues and new writers coming in ... it's a Hollywood tale told by idiots that always ends up with series finale. Can't go on forever.
Katherine pushed bobby and pam back together after splitting them up
But long before Jenna and Bobby were engaged he still loved Pam it wouldn't be fair to Jenna if he married her and still loved Pam
Bobby never stopped loving Pam. Him and Jenna weren't destined. Oh, but then she goes on to break up Ray and Donna.
Watched this one today on Amazon Prime
Pam makes me sick, she divorced Bobby ran around with Mark, was jealous when Bobby got on with his life, came back remarried Bobby and was jealous of a baby he made with his fiance, she divorced him for nothing in the first place....he shouldn't have even took her back, with her selfish self
Bobby should have married Jenna.
I agree.
Brandon Bowles I liked him with Jenna....Pam was waaaaayyyyy too selfish and jealous!!!!!!!!
I hated that he didn’t end up with jenna- i always loved their backstory and history as childhood sweethearts - in the reboot if bobby couldn’t be with pam it should have been jenna that he ended the show with by his side and their son lucas
@@overcomerbtboj agree
Glad he didn't! Pam and Bobby FOREVER!!❤❤
Ray kind of a hypocrite he lets his daughter be raised by another man but has no problem raising his brothers son.
Ray turned into a knob during his last full season. The way be treated Charlie a d cheated on Jenna. He was also being a prick to Bobby.. To be fair tho he seemed better when he came back for a few episodes the next season to help with the range war
I wonder why they did not introduce this child into the 2012 series because after all the baby was a Ewing because it was Bobby’s child
What about Cally's baby?

I actually wish Bobby and Jenna had ended up together. I think it was stupid to have him re-marry Pam since Victoria Principal had already handed in her notice that she would not be returning after the season was over. Plus, he looked like a total sleazebag re-marrying Pam after proposing to Jenna and getting her pregnant.
Okay with you
And Jenna would have been a perfect fit for him, she grew up with the Ewings. Even Jr liked her which says much.
I always love Pam and Bobby together. Not Jenna
Ray & Jenna’s relationship was very weird. Leaves one brother to marry another. Eww
Ughhhh!😩
@@beautifulangel3815 I believe the friendship between them was well done. They should have left it there.
Vydio Agreed! Their friendship worked better.....They acted more like siblings than a married couple. No spark !
@@thebigloc1 OMG, I had no idea Susan Howard had been fired from the show! But I agree: Ray and Donna were a good match. Ray and Jenna were a total mismatch. There was zero chemistry between them.
Yeah then Pam leaves Christopher and Bobby behind, after Bobby gives away his biological son to please Pam.
Is Ray the father of Donna's baby?
Yes he is.
Bobby is Lucas' biological father but he never recognized this child as his because he was married to Pamela when Jenna gave birth. In fact, Lucas was then recognized by Ray as his son.
For me ray is the father of lucas
This pregnancy storyline was a dumb idea. Just like making Pam a stay at home wife instead of running Barnes Wentworth with Cliff the move that caused Victoria to leave at the end of this season was also as bad.
They knew Victoria was leaving two years prior at the end of her contract. She negotiated that way.
John ross says too Donna and his mama daddy and uncle Ray talking loud thought there was gonna be another fire lol
PAM AND BOBBY FOREVER!!!❤❤❤
My heart broke for Pam throughout the series....
It was her idea to divorce Bobby in the first place, even though he hadn't cheated on her, and even though she was living in the lap of luxury thanks to him. She was too high-maintenance for her own good.
Fuck Pam. The worst character ever on Dallas.
SingleTax they divorced mainly because of all the interference by Katherine.
@@reneep9972 That would be James
"That Barnes woman".🤣
No surprise there. JR true to himself always doing something bad. I can't believe that he hated Pam his own sister in laws
Beautiful couple!!Love Bobby and Pam!!
Overall, JR didn't like a lot of people, but he definitely liked Jenna.
ray always got big mouth because Jenna didn't want bobby to know I guess
He loved Pam and always will. Why would you condone him being with Jenna? He wouldve married Jenna just because she had his baby? No no no that marriage wouldn't last because it was based on only out of obligation.
Then he should have left her alone. But his marriage to Pam wasn't 24 hours old before he was harassing Jenna.
who cares jenna, should have, told Bobby selfish woman
When with Pam, when Jenna comes along, she was still there in his mind and heart. When with Jenna, Pam was still in his heart. He was torn between these two women.
Probably if he married Jenna it would have worked out better, she had more in common with him than Pam ever had. It would also have avoided the drama he was to face after Pam left, with April etc.
I'm not talking about as a guest. I'm talking about as the bride.
If Bobby were marrying Jenna and Pam was the One pregnant Jr would not have called Pam
Maybe that would have been a better storyline....Bobby and Jenna should have been married...Let Pam get pregnant against all odds...
Jr Liked Jenna
@Ana Quinn but technology that was just Jr dream when he had a breakdown. Nice to chat to another Dallas fan tho!! X
Ray has a big mouth pam knows everything
I never liked Pam, she has such horrible nerve to have been mad that Bobby got Jenna pregnant, HELLO they were engaged and Pam is the one who walked away from Bobby and she was bedding Mark Grayson so get over it, I just never liked her and then on top of that, It was Pam's OWN sister who had Jenna sent to prison for Naldo's death. Pam was that one chic who could not stand not being the center of attention. She did not want Bobby until he was with Jenna, she was already with mark. Just a horrible character honestly.
If there was one character I didn’t like it was Ray and Donna.
Isn't that TWO characters??
Carter McCay was a creep and so was Jeremy Wendell.
The show got weirder and weirder after Donna left. Then when Ray and Donna moved to Switzerland to live, it really got crazy.
I know Bobby wasn't the father. Was it Ray's? Did Donna leave Dallas with Ray's baby? Anyone?
Bobby was the father. And yes, Donna did leave with Ray's baby.
Jr Jenna were friends
Don't you just love JR😅
Jr liked jenna
Bobby Is beautiful
That's ray baby not bobby she lieing just to stop the wedding that it should have been hers really
It's OK Jenna you have an exciting future ahead with Lieutenant Frank Drebin of Police Squad!!
Jr liked Jenna
JR liked himself, both as a man and a woman!
The reason he liked her was that she wasn't related to Cliff Barnes, whom he hated.
Mee too
Jenna liked jr
Bien fait pour bobby and pam
Ray was right! By the way, tacky wedding gown.
that dramatic music.
That wedding dress is tacky
Why doesn't Bobby tell Pam about this friend Matt Cantrell from the lost season...??
If Bobby was my husband he wouldn’t ever had done that to me I would be pregnant with his child. No way he would cheat on me with anyone else
Whatever happened to lucus?
EVELYN JACKSON Jenna and Raye Cribs got Married and Bobby soon gave up his Rights as Lucas Father to Raye since Bobby AlReady made his discision to let Raye Raise his Son Lucas. Later On Raye and Jenna Moved Away from Dallas to Have a Better Chance of Being a Family.

If I'm 100% honest, neither Pamela or Jenna were good for Bobby. I liked with April, and later, Ann.
Pamela and Jenna were both two whiny, IMHO.
Exactly why Larry Hagman had to have a liver transplant.
Life...oh well.
WHAT A GOD AWFUL WEDDING DRESS!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pam bought her wedding at Kmart.
There is no way that Jenna can be pregnant with Bobby's baby. I think that Jenna made it up.
If he had sex with her it is. DUH!
She didn't. She married Ray and Ray was the legal daddy to the child.
