Its a fun game especially when you learn the perfect team combos of yuito and kasane. My gripe with the game is that if you grind for certain materials you can get yuito or kasane's best weapons before your halfway through the game. So when you beat the game the post game best weapon isnt worth grinding for it unless you want for a collection

Yea once you perfect the combat its a really enjoyable process getting from beginning to end. I'm happy you enjoyed it for the most part though.

Do you think that the story will still be enjoyable even after you finish watching the anime? Or maybe the gameplay is better than the story?

Gameplay is the main reason to play this game tbh. I personally would still recommend giving it a try

@@KasukePlays Thanks for quick response, I've been eager to play the game but can't decide between Code Vein or Scarlet Nexus, but after playing too much GE i wanted something different 😁

@@aoiseirya550 oh yea I’ve played both games and really enjoyed both for different reasons but if I had to say I’d definitely play scarlet nexus first. I think about going back and playing kasane storyline pretty often

Did we play the same game? I did kind of enjoy Scarlet Nexus but was also (more then once) frustrated with how the story was handled. Alot of stuff was pretty confusing, some things are pointed out but then never get mentioned again and in some sections the character interactions felt forced or dumb. Side quests feel more like tutorial quests, where you have to "defeat an enemy in this or that way".
To be fair, I only played Kasane's story so far and heard, that it would have been better to play Yuito first, because his story gives more inside and Kasane's was meant to be an addition to that. In which case I wonder, why the devs didn't make that clear when choosing your character. After 40+ hours of my first run and maxing out all character bonds, I'm not sure if will go back for a round two with Yuito.

The story was a bit all over the place but the gameplay 100% made up for that. I would’ve loved for them to have a sequel to explore the world and characters a bit more. I don’t disagree the side quest are lack luster but overall that wasn’t a huge part of my experience. I’d have to hear wym when you say certain parts didn’t make sense because tbh it was pretty easy for me to keep up with granted I did play yuito first.

@@KasukePlays Thx for commenting back. Like I said, maybe playing Kasane first was a big reason why some things felt so poorly explained or not explained at all.
I did get the overall picture (the origin of the others, the moon, Togetsu, the political tension) but in some places it was hard to follow like "who did what and why", especially between Souh and Seiran. It always felt to me, like they were talking about the same fraction although Souh and Seiran were supposed to be opposites.
And what was the Randall family planning to do with Kasane? They did kidnap her, so Togetsu couldn't use the Red Strings but then what? Were they just trying to hide her? It sounded, like they had their own plans, but then did nothing.
What was Kodama's and Yuta's deal? Were they just there to mess with people or were they part of someone else's plan?
Why is Karen literally everywhere? I know, time travel. But it felt like he was casually hopping between fractions and no one cared about it. Why did Karen go 2.000 years back in time to kill Yakumo and take his place? The incident with Alice was alot more recent. And why was he 50 years in the future? Was he looking for a cure there, so he could take it back to the past? And lastly, (sorry, that was alot) why are there two Karens in the present? Sure, he went back, "became" Yakumo and woke up from cryo in the present, but that would mean, that at some point he went back and consequently vanished from the present like Kasane did originally after the murder Yuito's father. So how can he meet himself in the Sumeragi crypt?
Despite all my complains, I did enjoy the game. Otherwise I would'nt have played through Kasane's story to the end. And I'm sure the finished game would have been somewhat more polished if it wasn't for the pandemic. I hope that, if there will ever be a sequel, that they will have enough budget and time to make it a banger and improve on some flaws the original had.

I want to like this game so much. I'm 10 hours into Yuito's story and it's a complete hot mess. I have no idea what's happening. Zero world building. Who are the others? Why are they here? Why should I care? The writing in this game is abysmal and being 100% carried by the combat, which is fun. I'm not sure I will continue with it sadly.
