the v8 in the m5 sounds like a beast, people don't like the fact that there isn't a v10 anymore, but todat i've heard the new m5 and my god it sounds great!

That is sweet, love the color, and the brake calipers. For some reason, thought the seats would be a little more nicer, design wise. Like maybe a small 'M' badge stitched in or different color piping. Nice rims too.
I do like the sound along with the fact that it's faster than the last M5. I welcome the car to the "Cool" list, but there is one thing.
It just doesn't match the shriek of the V10. The V8 is great and all, but that 10 Cylinder was vicously badass.
Im a ''civic boy'' as many may call it but this sound... no matter how much money i will put into an exaust system,headers or what ever it will never get close to the sweet music a bmw v8 engine produce. Respect to bmw.. by far one of the best brand you can choose money/perfomence/class wise in my opinion
@bembaraM3 well this is faster and more fuel efficient. i know i can pay for the gas, but i do hate stopping for it cause then id have to get out of the car..

@Deathtogreece2 i agree, i love the 96-2003 era 5 series M5 that had the manual gear box. real driving.
It might not sound as purely BAMF as the E63 AMG, but it lets you know it means business. Honestly sounds like a perfect blend for a luxury/muscle car.

is this m5 stock? if not its a beast if so aside from the exhaust and twin turbo what els in under that hood?
yeah, its a pre recording of the engine played back over the stereo. it aint bullshit, look it up.
@serginietor its sorta like model. Like the current 3 Series Sedan is E90 and 3 Series Coupe is E92. F10 is the 5 series.

@troyarmstrong434 Mind u the m5 only comes with a semi automatic dkg gearbox. with that said you can switch from auto to flappy paddle
@olinissen its a auto and paddle shift and with a option with stick shift

yes its amplified, of course. everything that comes through speakers is amplified. but its a recording of the engine.not the live engine sound. although it sounds very close.
just wait till some one makes an after market exhaust kit i can't wait so we can hear those turbos. maby a bov to spice things up a a bit too
