Velcro rollers! Good to know! I just purchased rollers to aid in adding a wave to a straight piece. I bought sponge rollers because I thought the Velcro might damage the fibers [hair] 🥰

      They should work too!

You look gorgeous in reds! Thanks for the tips on this. My Wavy Day is looking frizzely really bad. I love her and will definitely use my steamer.
I have a quick question for you, Amanda. Is Chiquel associated with any charities that take donated wigs for those in need? I have 2 wigs that I bought that I kept thinking I would grow to love. I haven't. I've only just tried them on. I would love to donate them. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

This is the reason I don’t purchase many regular synthetic wigs. It is way too much work to get the curl back in the hair when you could just buy an HD fiber Wig, and buy a cool flow tool that has a cooling fan and curl it just like human hair. Plus, you would need so many rollers for the style because you have to use such small pieces to get the correct curl pattern.

Can you please provide a link for the HD fiber wig and cool flow tool?

I did this with the Velcro rollers to a hd friendly wig and the wig fibers stuck to the Velcro and completely ruined my wig . What do you think I’m doing wrong?? I had trouble getting every single roller out and pulled all the fibers ☹️ any advice would be so much appreciated 😊 love and godbless… oh the wig I tortured was tress allure’s beach waves😂 I didn’t throw her out I think maybe I can fix her as I only ruined the bottom by the nape

Oh no! How sad! But hopefully very fixable with heat! Perhaps roll it a bit more gently. Don’t tightly roll it. Or You could use foam rollers instead. ❤
But since it’s heat friendly, I would just use normal heat and not use rollers. I would use a hair straightener to curl it! Have you seen my video on refueling HD fibers?

@@chiquelwigs ok thanks! My hair straightener recently stopped working I’ve had forever 😂 I’m going to buy a new one I just can’t decide what one I want but I will try that. Thank you for replying back so soon I really appreciate your help love and godbless

I guess too much heat, any time you have melting that means too much heat...I never stop moving my hair dryer, never used a steamer on any wig to make curls, just to take the hair of my face, for curls I just use a regular hair dryer but I keep moving it so nothing bad happens, I do this on the nape of my wigs ( heat friendly ) just use a water spray and hair dryer so the fibers get smooth again...good luck and check more ladies, they all have great solutions.

Amanda, do you have any tips for human hair wigs? I have several JR that just puff out like clown hair after a couple washings (2-3). I use the right shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioning balm. I use bottled water because I have well water. I have used a blow dryer, tried air drying. I use silicone spray and/or argan oil but they still feel like permatease at the cap when there is no permatease. I’m ready to give up 😢

A flat iron can tame down the poof. Just use a heat protection spray first.
