Last but not the least, he is 37 years old. His body cannot support rough conditions like when he was 27. That’s very normal…

Why he is injured? Not any other players got injured. If court was that bad then some other players would get injured too.

Bad way to go out of the tournament. Not sure why the French Open decided to start doing these night sessions a few years ago. The conditions are so slow but perhaps Novak brought a bit on himself playing Geneva last week and likely requesting to play his first round match as late into the first round matches as possible to try to be ready.

painkillers - officially administered - what are you implying? he is right, like always and he is the only one speaking out and apparently paying the price - bad luck! (like the bottle incident) - and like always, nobody is backing him up - same as always

@@Miki-rv6lu The guy played on a torn ligament in his knee which is so hard to do !!!
I give him props because he used to default from matches when he would start losing or he had a lot of breathing problems with asthma until they got rid of the gluten out of the bread !

I recently torn medial meniscus, and can tell you it is really serious kind of injury, depending on tear size. Soon after first break, knee start accumulating water and blood (Backer's cyst shows up very fast and immobilizing knee, so it is almost impossible to move without discomfort and pain.. could band knee like 15% tops for couple of hours until sanitizing. He made it thanks to adrenaline and pain killers... but after he get cold an every additional move he was making, just made more serios damage to knee, cartilage wears out faster, ligaments.. and so on. I'm so sorry to see him going trough this, I manage to skip the surgery but for professional athlete they can't afford long recovery time.

She took all the beer out of the main stadium the last 2 days because people were so unruly.
The people in France seem to forget that America came over there and gave them their freedom!

This is sad because I'm sure Ruud wants a rematch with him. If the injury is real, I believe he is trying to save himself for Wimbledon and the Olympics in Paris. He will only do more damage to himself against the rest of the players even if he reaches the final. These younger players are hard hitting opponents!

Nole was making a reasonable request. Are the French stubborn about protocols and leave no room for common sense. Sweep the damn courts! Now he's injured and potentially career ending at this point. Sad....tu ne peux pas nous dire quoi faire

@@ajeetp470 Blood was coming out of his knee? What? He tore his medial meniscus, there is no blood with a cartilage tear. Regardless, he fought hard and luckily you can comeback pretty quick from a meniscus tear. I wish him the best.
