You should also check out St. Paul and the Broken Bones if you haven’t already. “Brain matter” and “Burning Rome” are my favorites from them. So glad I got to experience this song. The genre is surely blues, in the tradition of great blues guitarists, like BB King. His vocals remind me of Rag and Bone Man's "I'm Only Human." I will be looking for more Kaleo, for certain!

And thought to my self, I think maybe Kaleo would be a great start to introduce Icelandic music to you, cause Kaleo are an Icelandic band. But, I had'nt got around to it. But then I see this post! Holy sh.. youtube algorithm does a good job! it not only listens, it reads minds too 😂 Just thought I'd tell you, found it a bit weird 😲 If you don't mind them singing in Icelandic, one of my favorite songs by Kaleo is Vor í Vaglaskógi. This song is so so genius. Their song that's actually is in Islandic _Vor Í Vaglaskógi_ is so cool because, for me, I had I playing and it took a few listens to realize that it's not in English because I wasn't focused on the lyrics

As far as genre, I'd describe this as rock with a heavy blues influence. I was kinda surprised when I learned the band is from Iceland. A far cry from Bjork hehehe.

It is an Iceland group featured in the TV show Riverdale which how I discovered them. So glad for that. This is one of my favorite songs by far now
