San is a beast! He shines wherever you put him, vocals, dancing skills, huge stage presence, looks, hotness, a beautiful heart with the most beautiful of smiles. Never seen someone like san!

EXO's Kai is my favorite dancer, and San really reminds me of his stage presence. San has such a great aura, he puts all his heart and energy into the performance and it is impressive.
Yuuup same here, Kai is just.. Truly an amazing dancer and performer. He's my ult bias for a reason, so when I got into Ateez I noticed San immediately because of their similar passion

Actually I think everybody (including KQ Entertainment) expected Thanxx to win but due to the 'scandal' of Hongjoong's hair being a form of cultural appropriation a lot of people voted for Inception instead. Inception still remains my favourite ever Ateez song so I didn't mind at all (even though Deja Vu is fast becoming another fav & has been stuck in my head since they released it)!
Personally I liked Thanxx, however when it comes to popularity in Korea, Inception definitely appealed better to it and is what they needed
San always improves his dancing every comeback he is so amazing in dancing that he gets the most views in fancam

I think this current era with deja vu and eternal sunshine paired up together are my favorite ☺️ and I agree about San, he has been my bias since the beginning and there is no way it’ll ever change, his duality when performing is insane

I gotta say, the Inception/THANXX era holds a special place in my heart since it’s the era they also did the Black Cat Nero, but I’d have to say my absolute favourite era was Say My Name & HALA HALA as you mentioned lol. It’s not for the same reason most people choose that era though - I’m one of the Atiny who are really into the storyline and until recently Say My Name was the hardest music video for me to piece together. Spending so much time analyzing it over the last few years has made me especially fond of that era! Plus it gave us the iconic Hongjoong mullet and that album has my favourite b-side (Desire) so tbh I’ll be surprised if anything else tops it for me !!!
You should watch a lot of ATEEZ's videos, they are really fun, funny and so cute🥺❤️👏

Ahh Inception and Thanxx Era was such a chaos, even tho I was in team Inception but the way some people treated Thanxx beacuse of Hongjoong's hair was made me so sad, like people were coming with hate threads about Ateez, Hongjoong and the company even tho he didn't do anything wrong it wasn't even his fault but still argh even just by thinking got me mad again, it was so messy
San is really the most different kpop idol in my opinion
obvs. im biased because San is my bias lmao, but I can't stop watching him.. the way he performs is just, he goes into character and he does it so good. and off stage he's the sweetest bean ever. one of the things that made me stan ateez was the way they perform, all of them
My favorite era was definitely 'Pirate king' and 'Treasure'. Since the first time i listen to the song i felt like i was reading a book haha (and since i love to read well... ) 💁🏻♀️
Anyway i love every Ateez song. They make me imagine a whole story even before knowing the lyrics. There's no other group that cause that to me so, yeah I fell hard for them 🤭

I think that I like the Say My Name / Hala Hala era the most, but I also really like Wave/ Illusion. Even though the two sets are basically opposites of each other, they were just some really good songs and I don't get tired of listening to them. I feel a certain way whenever these songs come on. Other than that, I've enjoyed all of Ateez's songs.
Seonghwa.... that is all... Look all of Ateez constantly kill me but when you get biased wrecked by your own bias its tough. Also between Inception and Thanxx I voted for Inception but honestly I love both songs.
Ah so I'm not the only Seonghwa biased who gets wrecked by their own bias? Good to know. (Hongjoong, my other bias does this too at times, but mostly Hwa is the one causing problems...without any reason as he already has me wrapped around his delicate little finger)

We were mostly gonna vote for THANXX until we saw Hongjoong's hair (you know why that's a problem). But yeah, I would've chosen it if it weren't for the hair but I still LOVE inception.
There's a backstory about Inception and Thanxx era btw....
So.... Yes... Actually Thanxx would've won over Inception, but when they released the teaser photos of Thanxx, some people accused over Hongjoong's cornrow hair for cultural appropriation. So... obviously we chose to vote for Inception cause it's safe. It was so intense 'cause both the songs during voting were so close 🤏 ... Like 50/50 .... Sheesh... Anyway.... Eventually, Inception won.

If you want to see san really pop off watch any Hala Hala performance. There’s a reason why people call him SANtan and breaker off microphones lol
I swear Ateez are like chameleons! Or rather they are so evidently aware of the nuances of each part of their craft (singing, rapping, dancing, performing, writing, producing) that they are able to really confidently tackle any sound and concept that they choose. These boys impress every single time and I think besides the actual music, choreography and execution being technically and stylistically appealing... I think it's their dedication to diving head first into the concepts that makes all of their comebacks so amazing. I think, understandably, that sometimes when artists try a new style or sound of music, you can see the hesitancy or a little bit of uncertainty/unfamiliarity in their performances. But it's clear that Ateez are outstanding performers, because each time they so effortlessly slip into new 'characters' with entirely different vibes and presence on stage and in MVs. To be adaptable, is a sign of a very observant artist, they are acutely aware of what to do with their bodies, voices, facial expressions in order to fully 'sell' or make each performance believable and captivating. That can be partly innate, but it also takes so much hard work!

And I'm an Inception era Atiny, Inception was my first Ateez song, and still honestly my favorite. Thanxx is amazing too, but I didn't get to vote it was before I got into them. Still love Inception era, but I've honestly loved everything I've heard from them. There are no skips.

Nope no date for Eternal Sunshine MV yet, so for the time being we can enjoy Deja Vu without distractions hehee. Hmm as for a combo that would have to be Say My Name & Hala Hala for me, they are just too iconic and what I actually love the most is how similar yet different they are. With Wave & Illusion they are perhaps a bit too similar and Deja Vu & Eternal Sunshine a bit too different - though Inception and Thanxx is a great combo too and so is Pirate King & Treasure. Btw did you know Answer and Wonderland were originally meant to be double tittle tracks too? If that had happened and they hadn't put them into different albums...woah the voting would have been a total bloodbath between atinys, as those songs are basically crowned royalty of ATEEZ.
(Also while my fave combo might be Hala Hala & Say My Name, Answer still is and probably will forever remain as my all time favourite ATEEZ song, b-sides included. It's just _that_ song for me)
While watching MV's, performances or dance practices I have to watch multiple times to catch different members. Mostly my attention is on the one who is the center or on my biases (Seonghwa who is such an emotional performer and Hongjoong, who is so playfully sensual) but I want to see them all and appreciate each of their own flavor - so yeah hard not to notice San too with the way he embodies each song. But speaking of dangerous people, I watched Mingi's fancam from mcountdown and...just oh my god he is so fluid yet powerful, you'd never guess he was away for months! He is breathtaking!
(I also absolutely relate to your reaction to Yeosang, Seonghwa & Hongjoong's bias position has never been wrecked but Yeo is testing me hard atm)

i gree with you 100% when you said you felt connection with thanxx and wonderland cz i felt the same, prb from parading/marching thing.
the ending sound does lead to fireworks. same with the big balloons in that parade, as it comes out as stuffed animals on their suit jacket in the mv. its easier to see in the celebrate mv though.
I became an ATINY during Inception-Thanxx Era so I love these two but yeah, I really love Say My Name and HALA HALA. I mean SMN choreo is just soooooo good. It's so connected, smooth, and so, so, so fun to watch!

Welcome to the Atiny fandom !!!I like their debut album plus their Hala Hala, and Say My name era songs, it was very different from mainstream kpop-music but they are sooo talented they can do any genre they want and it will come out pefect !!!!They are totally on a different league but most of all they are so funny they brighten up my life !!!!!
