Can say the same here with FH7 until the bass failed after 3 years of usage. What's fascinating is both L/R failed at the same time. I thought it cannot be and tried different cables and NO luck. So it's the dynamic drivers that failed because everything else is there but without bass pointless. Any fix? Let me know.
I still recall when I got the fh15. I think was that. Nice design but the drivers was so bad that at loud volumes I was thinking they would break. I ended giving them away. Lol
hello can you tell me if have filling like semi open headphones becouse i search something like no total isolation make ear canal more breathing like speaker effect which i have with softears twilight which i adore the filing and awareness of sound around me..have this fiio fh19 like this filling in teh ear drum?
They really like mmcx connectors. I just got the FD15 which use mmcx. The annoying thing is that I’d get occasional pops and crackles when the cables moves and the connector contact faces rubs against each other
hello can you tell me if you can hear when moving head with no music play with fiio fh19 an d hear internal body sound like other closed iems which i hate this felling i search something with no pressure felling something like softeras twilight which no have this problem from pressure air isolation no breathing ear canal and hear internal body sound which i hate from iem only because it...can you tell me about fiio fh19 in this regard which is fondumental for me?
I need a iem , for vocals and instruments kinda muisc , some base is okay . My budget is 40 dollars or less . What would u recommend. I want good sound stage too
FIIO and Campfire Audio MMCX connectors tend to be robust. Other Chinese brands want to have the best product at the lowest costs, they wont invest in something like this unless necessary. I would like to see the industry move to Elysian's Pentaconn IEM connector as it is the best of 2 pin and MMCX.
No issues with the mmcx . In fact I like it more because they rotate. The only issue is when people open and close all the time. They dont last long. But I never change cables in daily basis. So perfect
I open the Alba and Advar both. The Advar is significantly better. I like the Alba…it’s smooth and sounds good…but man the Advar just brings music to life. I also own the FH19…it really does a great job with vocals.
@@kennethcolenyc 4.4 times the price for - same shell, same driver, different tuning. Point of my comment was - it probably wasn't selling well so they retuned it and re-released it 4~ years later. Yet another example of "you pay for brand name".
Great review and this is not a criticism but I just wanted to let you know that v o l a r e is pronounced. "vol-ah-ray". It is an italian word made famous by the song of the same name sung by Frank Sinatra and a multitude of famous male tenors in recent years👌 Out of interest how would you compare the FH 19 to the fx15
Still to this day, my fiio fh5 set is the most fun I've ever experienced with IEMs.
A classic!

Perfect the filters. I only place inside the density filters inside the changing nozzles to tune them my way

It's more open than most in-ears but not the same as open headphones. Maybe you should look at some earbuds

Yup. Looking forward to Pentaconn connectors replacing mmcx.

Fh19 is semi-open back so it doesn't have pressure issues.
No hear internal body sound?

Sorry about the dryness!
Was opting for MMCX in a premium model like this really the best choice? I've heard so many complaints about it...

Fiio and DUNU have good mmcx.
+1 for the Pentaconn connector.
@PrimeAudioReviews agreed
How vs FH9?
Don't have it to compare.
Never heard of Meze Advar but seems strikingly close to Alba for 4.4 times the price, something is fishy here.
Great coverage as always.
What's fishy about it? The Advar has been around for like 4yrs.

@@kennethcolenyc Hello. So for someone who owned FH9 for over 2 years now, which ones would you wholeheartly recommend? FH19 or Advar?

Out of interest how would you compare the FH 19 to the fx15
Thanks for the heads up! I don't have the FX15 unfortunately.
Hi! How IS compared with Mp145?
MP145 is great for the price. FH19 is a level up but the diminishing returns are there so don't expect a per-dollar upgrade.
I wonder how these compare with my beloved fh9?
I dont know what to buy fh19 or fx17
I have the fh9 as well
So do I.
