You can move the trigger guard because it gets pretty cold sometimes here in Switzerland. So if you want to shoot with thick gloves you wouldn't get your finger anywhere close near the trigger without the trigger guard being adjustable :)
As a former officer in the Swiss Army, I can assure you, that the number of rubber serrations on the stock is correct (13). In the swiss army there is a phrase for knocking someone out with the stock of this rifle. The phrase is "13er LiLö" which roughly translates to "extinguishing lights with 13".
As an owner of a real SG550, i was kinda surprised how good this airsoft looks. There is one big minus side though, where did the burstfire go? :-) Regarding your question, the trigger guard can be moved away to shoot with gloves.
It is the civilian version which is sold in countrys like the us as a firearm to civilians. The 30 Rounds Magdump and the 3 round burst are just in the military version like the Stgw 90 included
the trigger guard is used in the winter when its very cold fold it, so you can keep your old clunky gloves on, which i very usefull in the swiss alps because trust me in there in the army up there and it gets freeking cold sometimes, how heavy is the rifle and to bad it does not have burst fire in it.
In the Swiss army, when wear gloves in winter, so we don’t want to not be able to access the trigger or get our glove stuck in it. We also sometimes put rockets in the barrel, so the blowback is quite powerful and if you have your finger in the trigger ring, it will hert like really bad (this was more used in the older version of the weapon)
I think the lack of "SIG" on the rifle itself is actually correct to the originals in Swiss service. Rifles in the US will have "SIGARMS INC." on them, but that's an import mark.
Are the grub screws on the flash hider loctited? With mine the Allen key slipped within the screw so I’m afraid to try it again. Blowtorch then unscrew the grub?
I would like to know more about the rifle displayed on your video clip opening picture, doesn't look like a Sig 550 or Fass90, barrel is different in diameter and length, bipod is different, is it a sound suppressor fitted on?
I got one of the first SIG 550s, BIG MISTAKE. Receiver wobbled so the gold-contacts could go...out of contact, so you had to jam the two receivers together whilst shooting. The stock also wobbled a bit, and the outer-barrel is biased to one side. Did you have any of these issues?
I'm from Switzerland and I actually shoot the real version of that, i'm so stoked when i saw this i swear to god i'll buy this, does anyone know if there is a GBB version of the gun?
Are you sure that the distance is 40 meters?? because the bb´s aren´t to fast to get in 40 meters in a second, my Diana 34 (Pellet gun-650 fps per second with 14.3 gr pellet) get in 2 seconds.. So it´s seems that the test is not in 40 meters? or the cameras aren´t sync?
Airsoft freak if u are talking about real weapons u can not say that a gun ways close to an m16 or m14 there is about a 2pound difference which believe it or not is a big difference

Yves Dominic or you could do it the sweedish way and just have a big ass trigger guard.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Im am in Lausanne
Yvesdominic Love the SIG 550 awesome rifle that is extremely hard to get in the United States.

eMMjunaYschion Exactly my thoughts, and I love how they build the Battery into the gas tube! Looks just like mine but a little.. well... fresher.

Trigger guard moves simply for when you wear big gloves. (that's its purpose on the real one)
Thank you for this comment! That's great to know.
I rarely see so good reviews on airsoft guns. Good job

3:18 it is for Shooting with gloves (Wintertime)
+isa sch. Exactly
You can move The trigger Guard because in The Winter you can wear gloves and you still can shoot
the trigger guard moves to the side so its easier to use while wearing gloves.
Swiss Made no wonder it's a good gun ;-)
5:18 Thumb-over-bore doesn't work on this one, you'll block your iron sights ;) (Just like an AK.)
The original army version has a "SIG" tag behind the dioptersight :_
hey men, i hope you can see this post. i was wondering how did you put scope on to this gun?
the trigger guard moves for when you have bulky gloves
Thank you so much for rating, commenting, and subscribing! :)

You forget the rail mount on top mine came with one
It moves so you can operate it with thick gloves that the Swiss use.

Fantastic, your favorite word?
What kind of magazines does this gun use? Are they interchengable with others or unique for this gun?
FPS Poland They're unique for this gun, I'm pretty sure any 550 series magazines work with this.
@@chandelure254 also the real one? I think it will lock at least.
Looks a lot like a SWAT-556
+J. St the SWAT-556 actually is a sig SG556, which is a shorter derivation of the SG-550. Swiss guy out!
Bo2
