The limit of people in one Pokémon showcase seemed useless to me, because I have placed my squirtle in three pokestops and won all of the showcases, because of lack of people. The fact that you couldn't add your squirtle to a pokestop, because there were 200 people already is just insane to me! I didn't know there are this many Pokémon go players in some places.
It is crazy I was so excited to find a 2900 cp dragonite last night. I just made it to the part in the video where you caught it. I’m enjoying this event rn. Good luck to everyone shiny hunting. I just need the pikachu and bulbasaur
I also forgot to mention, that when I was catching squirtles in the same area the Pokéstop that had the showcase. I was able to add it still even though I wasn’t close enough to spin the stop 😊
I’m going to buy the mew research and it will be the first thing I bought on Pokémon go ever as i have been free to play. Super excited as I couldn’t get it last time.
I got first place in Showcase Star. I’ll be 77 next month and I’ve played since July 15 2016. My oldest grandson will be in Japan for Go Fest. He’s a producer. Yes I’m the one who drove him to play in Pokémon tournaments for years 😃
Caught a 50cp wild dragonite today. Pinap berry'ed it, and got 40 candy. Wish they'd do candy and stardust events more often tbh, but without starters considering they're stupid hard to catch for no reason.
There really isn't an easy way to speed it up, you just have to be patient. It will probably take somewhere between 2 and 4 months depending on how quickly you can complete the walking requirements and the catching requirements. For the field research one, since you can only do one task per pokestop per day you'll need to go to an area with a lot of stops and do every task you can, good times for that are community days and research days because the tasks are generally fairly easy and every pokestop will have one for the event. If you arent level 40 yet grind as much as you can, same for the kanto medal, just catch everything. If you haven't completed the first mew quest yet you have to do that first, chances are you probably have already, but just in case, that one is annoying. Last I checked you could send around 100 gifts per day, so the first step will be the quickest to complete, but will probably take multiple days anyway. Hope this helps, good luck!

At 19:00 - You can check the buddy history in your avatar page ( i don t know it s name), and it shows the distances, so you dont have to wastes the 20 buddie swaps
There is a setting in Pokémon Go in the advanced settings called native refresh rate, which will make your game run a lot smoother and will make it look much better when screen recording...
Thought the same thing yesterday. Was otw to a gible spawn when I saw a Dragonite on the nearby. Went for it, caught it. Was walking back for the gible and saw Dragonite still at the stop on the radar. Went back to the same stop and there was a second Dragonite at the same stop at the same time.
I got shiny Articuno in GBL last night but I was out of pokeballls, I had to wait till 12 o clock midnight 😂, open some gifts and then catch , I was not expecting a shiny one or just simple one cuz I got non shiny heatran few days ago from GBL ❤😂
Steel type related event, Mega Metagross and UB Assembly Stakataka debut. During Diwali couple light event Mega Camerupt and UB Burst Blacephalon debut. Can be Zeraora debut in elite raid too?! Event related to pokemon evolution because UB Adhesive Poipole evolve to UB Stinger Naganadel, 200 Poipole candies. During Holiday event December 2023 this season will end up with Sinnoh Tour the mythical Access from generation 4 and later revealed related to Hisuian form which is partially Generation 8 pokemon. May be Gen 8 starter in Pokemon Go but at least will debut Hisuian Pokemon which evolution to Wydeer, evolution to Basculegion and Enamorus as new legendary raid.
As a mostly free to play player, showcases are very much a game changer! I won 3 showcases and got a star piece lucky egg incubator raid pass and some ultra balls and stardust and xp!! You can only be entered in 3 showcases. But this is my new favorite feature
I got the research today. Reaching level 40, walk 151 kilometers and other stuff is gonna take forever!!! Oh my gosh, it it would be worth it.( maybe not if it’s terrible iv new but maybe still be worth it cause it’s rare and shiny)
It says it ends tomorrow, at 8pm. But it ended at 8pm the day of (I got the rewards later at 9:30pm day of). I think they didn't get the text right. But that's par for the course when it comes to Niantic announcements
I feel like I have lots of costume Pokémon since I keep every costume Pokémon from each event. I have so many costume pikachus from all of the events I participated in lol.

If you were to make a second account for a Shiny Mew, you can always link your GO account with your HOME account and transfer it to HOME. You can link many accounts to HOME, so don’t worry if that’s your plan of action! :)
I have one showcase Stop at my house (which is strange, because we only have around 6 stops here and 4 of them are showcase stops), and I won yesterday, but only got 1x starpiece.
Personally I'm never one to complain about updates on any game because bad or good more content is more content, but recently as everyone knows Niantic has screwed up royally, however, this new update ESPECIALLY the showcase is really good
I do have 150 pokemon... I do miss TAUROS, I really hope they let him spawn someday freely or in 3-star raids. However sadly I missed the event, because I was sick in bed.

Oh one correction. you don't have to complete the All-in-One research to get the bonuses from it, all you have to do it buy the research pass and you get them right away for the event
i dont play pokemon go alot but on the first day of teh 7 years event i got a hundo squirtle 2 wild dragonites 1 wild jolteon and a wild flareon. i also got a i think it was a 96% IV gimmighoul which is the best ive ever gotten for gimmighoul, this event is poggers (except for niantic not releasing ANYTHIGN for free, i rlly wanted that shiny mew but i dont have money to waste on pokemon go) im waiting to evolve my squirtle untill community day

FYI anyone who had the shiny Mew special research from the 1st time it came out or buys it this time around gets the same bonuses I bought the shiny Mew masterwork special research and got the same bonuses as people who had it the 1st time it was released don't know when I'll finish it but I'm willing to put in the work the only thing that I don't like is that I need the Kanto Platinum medal and in order to get that I need Kangaskhan so far I haven't found anyone who has it and is willing to trade it and I don't know if/when Kangaskhan will be released globally again I know it will be in the New York in person go fest event but I'm not going to New York I'm only doing global go fest
I found a wild Dragonite yesterday. I felt no nostalga bc ive only been playing for about 15 months now lol. In that time im already just 25 away from 700 in the dex caught and just 4 away from finishing Kanto. Going for Shiny Mew! Hope you all get some great spawns and catches!
I wouldnt say not allowing og players to get a second shiny mew is "punishing" them. We all know damn well if people could get a second one people wokld be losing them mind screaming "pay to win pay to win pay to win" left and right. I understand being a little upset that its less rare now but this is to give people who missed it a chance at getting it. It wasnt meant for players who already have it to get another chance at getting better ivs or a shundo. Because as already stated if people could get another one I think it would cause alot more issues. But people will always find something to complain about I guess.
Got myself a 3 star shiny squirtle, as well as a hundo squirtle and bulbasaur from research tasks. Unfortunately, after 300 charmander shiny checks and around 10 charmander raids, i have yet to get that shiny :/ hoping i can get one before the event is over🤞
There was a bug with my game the other day. It wouldn't let me switch my squirtle. I was there at the stop as well as home and still didn't work. Was discouraging but I hope it's fixed now.
I got a hundo dragonite of 3314 CP spawn , and it doesn't end there , I even got shiny galarian pontya , shiny party hat charamamder 2 of them , shiny party hat bulbasaur , shiny meowth , shiny totodile and 2 shiny absol and a shiny chansey in 2 days

My big issue with the 151 quest line is the kanto badge, I dont have tauros and he is the last one I need, with him being region locked to US.

Me and my friends did a French Zapdos raid, someone out of the 6 or 7 people got a shiny, and the Zapdos went down to 35 cp below the hundo.

I got the Shiny Zapdos this morning. looks almost the same as the non-shiny. Very disappointed . But he is 12,14,15.. so YAY!

If your a newer player,it's nearly impossible to get your kanto badge platinum for a shiny mew with the regionals and all. Sucks for newer players
