    I was just thinking to myself that I needed to figure out this exact topic. I turned on youtube and BAM there's my answer. The way you break down the details in graffiti using proper art techniques is a game changer for me. Thanks man.

    Not sure if you still do these, but I’d absolutely love if you did a graffiti breakdown in the game battlefield 2042. I remember a couple years ago you made the watchdogs 2 video and I flipped my shit at the time that’s one of my top games of all time and to see a graff breakdown on it😙👌👌

      Lol I had to put him in the video just had to. I can't tell you how many people have tried to overlap the same way he does (leaning) and they ask me for critiques about it. Legit, before he got popular, not a single person in over 10 years asked me how. After? Countless people lol 😆

    great shortcut for understanding how to manipulate forms. still really excited to get a better grasp on value to fully convey the ideas, but i'm so stoked to try it again in the books. thanks grim!

      What worked for me personally to help get my head wrapped around value was to actively work in greyscale, take colour out of the equation entirely. Correct values will make whatever colour look "right" in the end. A few different graphite pencils of different softness can be a great tool to learn it with. Start simple and get the fundamentals down, when you're feeling confident consider working on value drawings where you don't use lines and instead treat everything as shading. At that point it feels almost like painting more than drawing but it is a fun challenge and I believe really helped make value "click" with me, perhaps it'll help you too. Good luck and have fun on your art journey :)

    I often ponder, if the entire name is angled as a whole, then the end of the name thats closer to the viewer should be larger, and the other end smaller, bcuz its further away, but we dont do this. Instead, its more like each individual letter rotates on its vertical axis to become angled, but the name as a whole, is still facing the viewer straight on. Does that make sense?

    • @Theartistblock
      @Theartistblock  9 месяцев назад +1

      I mean you certainly can do it either way. Your first example puts the letters themselves into perspective ( look at the bronze and blue Wort piece I show in the video) this is an example of that all be it slightly more in depth.
      Normally graffiti pretends to angle a letter but the 3D still is uniform among all of the letters ( that wouldnt be the case if the letter actually leaned) . If you'd like to chat more about it reach out on Instagram and let me know its you so I can know who's comment I'm responding back to

    Couldn’t be more confusing in your presentations in general. Slow down and relax bro, over complicating doesn’t make you sound smarter. Other than that nice work!!

    • @Theartistblock
      @Theartistblock  8 месяцев назад +1

      Dude this is basic form information. Nothing about this was complicated at all. In normal art classes this is a day one lesson. No one else seemed to have an issue with it and iv been teaching this just fine for 20 years so it seems to me you're just not ready for this lesson. Seems like you have to keep it simple and practice the basics and work up to this
