Hi, I have today just replace the driver side intercooler hose (Blue Brit part silicone hose)and after watching this video made sure that the hose is well away from that bolt on the A/C. I was able to reuse the white plastic ring that was on the old hose to help keep it away as well. I have a 2012 gs sd4 model and I do not have that metal bracket that would have been used for your hose bracket. So thanks for doing the videos on the hoses, think I’ll replace the rest now with the DPH ones. New note, I had the locked out of car problem a while ago as I had not used it for a while but since the car was in a small garage the passenger door was a few inches from the wall. Many ideas where thrown at me to try from online forums to try and get into the car and one was 12v power to the starter motor but I found it was not possible but it would not have worked anyway I could not seem to get to the starter any way. Didn’t smash the window thought I put a board in top of the roof rack climbed up leaned down to the lock opened the door and with the fob taped to the end of the stick push it into the slot, car woke up and with the other fob opened the door. Awkward but saved a smashed window😁
Wow! You were lucky to get in. Interesting that the starter motor idea didn’t work. For the hoses, I think some of the silicone hoses available are slimmer than the DPH ones. Thanks for letting me know that you don’t have the metal hoop… Sounds like facelift models don’t have this so I will need to advertise my clip as pre-facelift only and work on a separate facelift version.
On the dead battery issue. One thing i thought of was an anderson type plug on the front bumper connected to the battery, similar to what the AA use. So you could hook a battery or jump pack without needing to gain access
Not sure which brand is best but you should be able to gain access under the rear seat. The fuel tank pump is not a lift pump, it is purely to move fuel from one side of the saddle tank to the other. The high-pressure pump on the engine then draws fuel all the way to the front.
I didnt drive mine for over a year, the battery totally died, fobs dead. My key got me in fine. Tried charging battery but no luck, thankfully it had a 5 year warranty and was 4 years old so got a new replacement free, so yay lol. Loving your vids :)

Had one of these on a disco 2 I owned really helpful peace of mind more than anything
WOW. Great video, thanks. Best of luck with the ladder and especially the charging challenge to a dead car. 👍👍👍
Ctek battery charger comes with plug you can wire to the battery instead of using croc clips. This could be placed somewhere accessible
I've done that on a transit van have it coming out a the front window scuttle, no more smashing windows to get in if battery flat.
When trying the charging leave the passenger window open
Ha! Yes! Good idea! I didn’t think of that!
Good vid, Cars looking good you just need a set of smoked side indicators
I’m not a boy racer you know…well, maybe a little bit! 😂
@@BeavisPits😂 😂they just have a better look than those white ones on the black grill, I've got them on mine.
Hey Beaver
Which fuel pump brand is better for LR2
Mine fuel pump got failed and i heard it messy process to put down the tank and installation

Put the ladder on the nearside not your offside surely ????????
Can’t do that, it is shaped to stagger to the right as it rises so will only fit on offside
what tyre setup do u have?
