I like the cabover it has the looks but honestly the ole W9 had the sound and the power I loved how grumpy that Cummins sounded especially with the jakes on.
Tim, you deserve this truck. I can feel the emotion in your voice, this is well deserved. You are always helping your fellow man, it’s your time to receive that love back.
Great truck Tim, I know money is a thing and you can only have a few dream/favourite trucks but the W900 was a beautiful truck, I hope you had a good deal as the W900 was the gentry mascot. The end of the day it’s your dream truck so I completely understand why you traded and hope it is sweet dael with the truck and it’s everything you wanted. 👍👍
@Fatblokes Ferguson, I disagree that the W900 was the Gentry Mascot. I think his maroon Peterbilt was his mascot/flag ship truck. You couldn’t mistaken that truck being someone else’s whenever he pulled in somewhere and was definitely recognized as Timmy pullin in. Lol W9’s are cool hood trucks, but Large Car Pete’s are my favorites. 🤘

My dad has one of these for a farm grain, used to have 2. You'll DEFINITELY need to turn the power up if you plan on hauling 80,000. They built these for Walmart to haul box trailers that are never that heavy.
I was literally talkin to my wife today about wanting to go buy this truck and she said yes and now I see it here glad i know it at least went to somebody I respect and I know is going to appreciate it because I was on my way to get it

I ended up having to back it 2 miles back down the gravel road to the crossroads to turn it around.. what a treat that was!! 🤦🤦🤦
Hey Tim, seeing your passion and face light up when you got this truck was priceless. I'm going to miss the W900, don't get me wrong because that truck pulled its worth for you. I think it's more than just us, I think it is a mixture of your passion to want to be successful and go after the things you want for your business. So yes you did the right thing by tradeing it for your Cabover. Happy things worked out in your favor hopefully it turns out the way you want...

Wow used truck prices in America is mental! We export all our stuff from Britain for buttons before they are even 10 years old! Missed my chance for a cheap N14 ERF as they are that rare now they are maki g a premium for show trucks now! Old Daf Mercedes Volvo Scania etc when finished work maybee's! Still a few Foden Alpha's might get one cheap some day but old British trucks are a dying breed more of them working around the world than in the UK now!

I have made numerous trades throughout the years and friends and family have questioned me on some of those deals. I have had people tell me I am trading down and I have to tell them I really didn't care about what I was trading but I loved what I was getting.

Yea ... he said it wasn't up to their standards, which confused me because that cab over is already way nicer than anything he's ever done. Next thing you'll know it will be blown up and in pieces all over his garage, with half the local goobers in Tenn. beating on it with hammers.
@@blueovaltrucker He was on about no jake brake bet the Detroit was happy for its camshaft on the way home! Jake brake abuse destroys cam shafts any proper operator or diesel mechanic would go mental if it was there truck and one of there drivers was hammering the jake brake! We know why Tim had too put new cam in the N14 in the W9! They are his trucks but would not have been anything up with the oil when the crate motor ate is cam lobes! Cam goes from making power too almost a dead stop with jake braked gear changes! Was working on truck engines from Tim's sons age! I know my way around a engine! Seen quite a few cams replaced for jake abuse! Good luck tho Tim who ever restored that cab over done a real good job of it!
@@micksroversmg558 Exactly correct....I drove & so did my father and we had jakes on many of the trucks we drove and never just abused the jakes like Mr. Gentry here. He uses them in town, around 4 wheelers, down residential streets and neighborhoods. He doesn't seem to care about others or his equipment or the example he sets for his kids. He treats his equipment like a toy. I guess it's hard to watch someone squander so much while trying so hard...I don't get it. And moreover, I don't get why I care.😀
@@blueovaltrucker Not hating on Tim at all but if I caught my truck being abused like that with Jake gear shift every gear change and just for the noise not for braking assistance when coming down steep inclines he would be getting his p45 in his last pay packet! That a British thing its your form for taxes for your employers! Had not watched a lot of Tim's videos when he pulled the W9 out of the field but watched the video when he had ams oil Adams on and he was on about a 50k mile crate N14 lunching a cam shaft! Then seen the videos of him working that truck and constant Jakes on every opportunity was cringing every time thinking poor cam shaft only just been put in one way too put another one in in 50k again! Not just cam tho metal in the oil from the cam wear will get too other moving parts in the engine and kill the bottom end off too!
Man I remember y'alls first real video it was when y'all bought the airforce and the white cabover its crazy to see how much y'all have grown so good job and keep up the good work.
Now I know, when Im driving at night. Why some semi trucks head lights blind me. The top of your beam of light was so bright & like 15 foot higher then the white dually pickup truck you were really far behind form like 17mins in to like 19:** when you passed them. But the new trucks head lights weren't putting light up that high. Like at 40:40 into the video, those head lights were like not even half as bright as the W900. Other then that, love the new truck!! I need to get my CDL. I've always wanted a cabover.
You might wanna get some real ramps made for that. If not that Double Drop RGN will eat them fenders for lunch. Especially with that low Mount 5th wheel.
Good polishing, remove the fiberglass rear fenders, detailing, a different paint scheme if it was me. It's a nice C.O.E. I had a 87 .....it didn't look like that though... lol. Good score. I would have traded too. Especially when it has a new engine in it......SCORE!
The white International truck and the Air Force truck are very much identical. That truck right there is what the Air Force truck could potentially look like if given the right time and parts to make it look awesome.
Back in 96 & 97, these were my first two trucks ever driving. A 95 Intl. Schneider cab over, then a 93 W9. I’d have to say, I’d have done the same thing at this point in my life. The only thing that needs if it doesn’t have it already is, air ride. That two blue stripe paint job almost looks like the Walmart trucks from ye’ oldern days. I’m happy for you, man. And here I thought Bruce’s “I’m selling Blue Collar” meant that was coming to East Tennessee.
@Burt I watched Bruce’s video first. I was saying when I saw Bruce’s video first pop up, that was the first thing I thought of. Who else would give Blue Collar as much or love than Bruce? Tim.
@@williamarmstrong1017 I posted as I was watching. I heard afterwards, but I didn’t feel like going back and editing. That’s one thing I never had the opportunity to drive was a cab over with air ride that didn’t beat me to death.

That actually was a Us. Xpress truck pulling a dollar general trailer.
Congratulations. Very Nice. Thank You for Sharing !! H.
That Truck is Awesome. The Johnny Cash Truck Deserves a workover like that one has.
The family runs N14 in are trucks and had very good luck with the engines.
Makes me so sad. W900 is my dream truck but the cabover is beautiful man congrats
The white International truck and the Air Force truck are very much identical. That truck right there is what the Air Force truck could potentially look like if given the right time and parts to make it look awesome.
Thank you for Gentry Acres - I needed more Gentry videos in my life!!
Nice truck you’ve done well you have worked hard for this so enjoy what not treat yourself.
Happy for u. Glad your dream came true
Love the sweet song of a Series 60! 😍
If you missed it they did mention it has air ride👍
@Burt I watched Bruce’s video first. I was saying when I saw Bruce’s video first pop up, that was the first thing I thought of. Who else would give Blue Collar as much or love than Bruce? Tim.
@@williamarmstrong1017 I posted as I was watching. I heard afterwards, but I didn’t feel like going back and editing. That’s one thing I never had the opportunity to drive was a cab over with air ride that didn’t beat me to death.
So happy for us all ❤️🙏👍
