    Instrument: 8-course Renaissance lute (after Venere) by Martin Haycock.
    Recorded in July 2010 in the Sastamala Old Church (Finland). With many thanks to Chris Thorpe.

    Mr. Gondko is a master of the lute. His rendering of this piece is as good as it gets, IMO.

      No - Holborne has not composed a single lute duet. The version for lute has survived in 4 sources. and, of course, there is a version for consort published in 1599.
