Was lucky enough to have Hip Hop Chip Shop cater our wedding. Our guests were blown away! Been following these guys since the beginning! Great to see them on the ratemytakeaway now too! Best fish & chips in Manc.
At first i thought it was expensive , but bearing in mind the sausage was not how it would normally be presented , and the rest of the meal, judging by Dannys reaction , it was worth every penny , Totally out of the ballpark , the lady taking the order , how nice was she , nothing too much trouble , knew her menu inside out ! It doesnt get much better ! Very very solid 10 ! Well done the hip hop chip shop ,
As you say the colour of the batter looks like it's overcooked but when you realise what's in the batter it makes sense. Looks banging, every credit to them.

After watching this video for the first time today I thought the same. Anything beyond £10.00 is out of my league. Easier to opt for lunchtime specials whereby prices are reduced for a short period of time during the lunchtime. But I would never in a million years spend this much on fish and chips.
Obviously I don't know you personally but you seem like a genuinely nice man who brings joy to people wherever you go. You have a fun and child like personality which is very endearing. I hope you take care of yourself though and try to keep healthy because unfortunately food reviewers seem to leave this earthly plain a little sooner than most.

I often make fresh home made fish and chips, and notice that if I add whisked egg whites, (meringue in fact) to the batter, it colours very quickly. A chef from Nepal showed me this trick as he always adds meringue to his Yorkshire pudding batter, and they always looked amazing, with a great rise.
