The reason why this sounds so good was because the 3DO was a 32bit CD Drive system. Anything that was a 32bit media might as well be a computer CD-ROM or CD audio, and anything that had a strong audio soundtrack within the 90's was 32bit. The majority of the CD's data during that time was for the audio playback. The 1991 3DO introduction price was $700.

@@alan.smitheee Redbook audio IIRC is 16-bit 44.1 kHz. Like you pointed out, it didn't matter how many "bits" the system was.

The staticky aurora effect in the background looks terrible, even when compared to the Genesis version!
The issue with this is the bell-sounding beats makes this so hard to listen to. It would have been great without them.
