Russia gives free-hand to Belarus to use its nuclear weapons? | WION Top stories

Belarus’ First Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Muraveiko has said that Belarus will use non-strategic nuclear weapons if its sovereignty and independence are jeopardized.
Now, it is important to note here that Russia parked several of its nuclear weapons in Belarus last year, a fact which was confirmed by the Belarusian Presdient in April.

Its one of the main reason to put nukes in Belarus. It is an insurance policy. Putin and Lukashenko know Luka would have been ousted without Putin's help. If the people topple Lukashenko the nukes are Putin's excuse to invade Belarus to "protect Russian nukes." Of course among, "NATO" and "Nazis" and "mean to ethnic Russians" or whatever other excuses Putin wants to add.
