right now, this is the best show on the internet.. I never knew that some guy just standing and talking about movies can be so incredibly funny and enjoyable
I assume you're new here. Welcome to the world of youtube reviews. Most are movies, some are music, art, etc. Some try to be funny like here, others not. They are all (sometimes occasionally) wonderful.
***** its not like the majority of modern western christians have actually read a bronze age fictional book of superstition and i certainly dont blame them :p
mentat eyebrows are all the rage in the future...actually they are a biological requirement mandated by the Genetic Augmentation Proclamation ...all humanoid/hybrid species are enhanced three days after birth/transutero gestation extraction....both male and female and the undecided are given large and quasi-sentient that remain the same size physically as their bodies grow to match their predetermined adult physicality shape
Hah, if that gets made, it won't be an lgbt reference, it'll be a furry normalizing attempt. And as the wise eyebrows said, another bunny closer to the goal.
I think the idea is that only the mammals evolved to sentience. You might want to look at the fish store seen in the arctic section of town as Judy is riding the train through it. Seafood!
Just spit green tea all over my laptop when he said "That's for the viewer to decide, and draw, and send to me" that was the funniest line on the internet
I appreciate how this show can make even the most terrifying scenes look like a cakewalk, and that's due to its nonchalant and humorous delivery. Kudos! :)
Giulia Sthefany Salustiano Well that's slightly less disturbing, but my point still stands; why does the realistically drawn Disney bunny come after Lola?
Exactly the same for me! I thought wisecrack needed to make a vid on this because this movie was deep with politics. Personally I liked the sloths at the dmv 😂
wait...if carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores live all together in harmony, what do the carnivores eat? Are they gonna go to the store and see packed meat and ask, Bob is that where you went?
Instead of graveyards, they have meat shops. And where we have Coroners, they have butchers. Rather than burying all their dead citizens they utilize the meat off their bodies to feed portions of the overly large population.
That was more of the "Surface Level Meaning" (I thought you were really gonna get into it, so I was surprised when the video just ended) ...but as always an entertaining video from Garyx Wormuloid!
"Sex partners? That's for the viewer to decide. And draw. And send to me." Is, is he complaining that people have done that? Or is he asking for people to do that? I'm honestly not sure which is the better option here...
There were two reasons for that: 1) The final product was made within 17 months. 2/3rds of the way into development, the people behind this movie felt that the movie that they were making wasn't going in the right direction. So they changed it and practically started from the ground up (the city of Zootopia wasn't even a thing in the previous concepts). 2) The, "predator vs. prey", theme is a big part of this movie and that dynamic is easier to see in mammals than any other group. They have stated, though, that reptiles, birds, and a few others do live within the world they have built.
The great thing here is that there are no "power dynamics" at play in this world. Predator and prey alike both face prejudice, and they both defy stereotypes. They are both in positions of power, and they are both oppressed.
I watched Zootopia with my son, and I thought it was garbage! Angry Birds is the one with a strong message of cultural preservation and the ills of Islam!
***** Kind of weird they sell them at florist's in the city, then. I don't know whether in the film they mention more usages... such a mystifying mystery.
well they eat insects in zootopia, there was a box from a burger that was made from insects in some fast food, that place was actually going to be in the movie but it was scrapped :D
plot twist -Judy's parents are drug dealers. And that's why they didn't want Judy to be a cop.Otherwise , which farmer uses Latin names of the flowers?😉
I like that Zootopia could have multiple political interpretations. You could view it as showing that identity politics stereotypes aren't always true (privileged predators can be good, disadvantaged prey can be evil), or you could view it as reinforcing those stereotypes (predators commit crime, BLM, etc). I thought it was a very nuanced and intelligent film no matter your perspective. Underrated. I know a lot of people who didn't like it.
I noticed that too.. There is only land animals no animals that fly or swim, or have any connection to the water or air. I thought that's because it would make it a sci-fi/horror flick
I've seen this a couple times, and, is it just me, or are there No primates at all? i can understand the lack of humans, but no primates at all? i don't really understand that choice, but pff whatever, not my movie. still interesting to note them among all the other left out species.
they left out primates because they're too much like humans, they didn't want anything that close because when you anthropomorphize them they basically just become humans
i disagree, i think the primate family is much more diverse then people realize. If you considering bonobos, then sure, i can see that, but something like a lemur shouldn't be any more or less out of place then a fox, or rabbit.
clearly it is about how muslims/predators are seen as dangerous and how Trump/the mayor try and convince the white people/prey that muslims/predators can't get along with white people/prey because of their religion/biology. Quite amazing how the movie parallels the political climate that hit it's height shortly after the movie was made and in theaters
I noticed it too... no reptiles, amphibians, fish, or insects. Not even a nod to the existence of such life forms. This movie was blindly mammal-centric. We can only hope that in the sequels, we will see there are more environs in Zootopia that are tailor made for reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects... along with some kind of ret connned explanation for why we didn't see any of that in the first movie... but it better be good! Otherwise... extremely hypocritical message.
I noticed it too, but I personally figured that just the mammals evolved into sentient beings while the birds, bugs, reptiles, etc. simply stayed as 'animals', so there might be zoos in Zootopia that showcase animals like giant salamanders and flamingos, and pet stores where one could buy a turtle or a guppy. It would also explain where the predators get their protein from without having to eat their fellow citizens (Judy passed a fish market on the train into the city). Maybe the Zootopian restaurants sell chicken burgers and fried frogs to the carnivores. It's still not terribly fair to all of the non-mammals, but it at least solves the 'what do the carnivores eat' issue.
I clicked this video rolling my eyes about how there'd be some stupid, far fetched actually serious theory in the video. But damn, was I wrong. This was hilarious. Here's a sub.

Sex partners? That's for the viewer to decide. And draw. And send to me. God I love this channel.
But how will we send them if we're all supposedly dead and he's from the future?
***** Genius
I was thinking that cause I ship it
I was thinking that cause I ship it
I laughed so hard at that part
"To draw. And send to me." I know a search engine for that.
e621 ;>
I couldn't stop laughing when he said that this channel is the best
Well as we all know, Google was dissolved after Earth was destroyed
Nice to see that Square space apparently survives the destruction of humanity
Better invest in Squarespace then
Well "space" is literally in the the title so it makes sense
hey wanna go to spacey's
It's kinda like the cockroach of webdesign.
They relocated interplanetarily in the nick of time
right now, this is the best show on the internet.. I never knew that some guy just standing and talking about movies can be so incredibly funny and enjoyable
and better than tv
I assume you're new here. Welcome to the world of youtube reviews. Most are movies, some are music, art, etc. Some try to be funny like here, others not. They are all (sometimes occasionally) wonderful.
yeah it's a shame that nostalgia critic switched up his style. This guy is the next best thing.

***** its not like the majority of modern western christians have actually read a bronze age fictional book of superstition and i certainly dont blame them :p
***** i was speaking in general, tho i get why you might have interpreted it that way.
Those eyebrows are far too epic to be real.
You doubt his power
I do. They look like they belong on a cartoon king. I envy those mighty brows.
You're far too birdy to be a birdy young blue birdy.
mentat eyebrows are all the rage in the future...actually they are a biological requirement mandated by the Genetic Augmentation Proclamation ...all humanoid/hybrid species are enhanced three days after birth/transutero gestation extraction....both male and female and the undecided are given large and quasi-sentient that remain the same size physically as their bodies grow to match their predetermined adult physicality shape
nothing gets past this guy
"Sex partners? That's for the viewer to decide. And draw. And send me."
Zootopia Rule 34
+TheDesertLad rule 69
Zootopia R34 was out way before the movie was even released in theaters.
Fucking furries, right?
Singlespeed even when the concept art and the story was told thats when it hit
and Judy and Nick become partners. sex partners? That's for the viewer to decide.. and draw.. and send to me.
Omg XD
Angelina Petersen Zootopia 2 Nick and Judy forbidden relationship of two different species. (LGBT reference)
Angelina Petersen so did rule 34 die out with humanity or something?
Angelina Petersen
XD
Hah, if that gets made, it won't be an lgbt reference, it'll be a furry normalizing attempt. And as the wise eyebrows said, another bunny closer to the goal.
Angelina Petersen honestly me tho
Finally an analysis about Zootopia that isn't limited to racism. Great video
tbh though, I can't tell if they are serious near the end because some of the analysis is wrong...
You mean, when he says that the message of the movie is inclusion?
Which parts are those?
Suck it
+Gespe The things you think are wrong were probably jokes.
"Not counting reptiles and amphibians and fish and birds and insects. They are all dead, I guess."
My thought in the entire whole movie.
I think the idea is that only the mammals evolved to sentience. You might want to look at the fish store seen in the arctic section of town as Judy is riding the train through it. Seafood!
Bout humans? They wild?
I guess the preditors mammals are eating those "animals"
pollution
Just spit green tea all over my laptop when he said "That's for the viewer to decide, and draw, and send to me" that was the funniest line on the internet
@Anony Mousse nah it was a little funny even 2 years later
"that's for the viewers to decide. and draw. and send to me."
I came here looking for Hidden messages and instead I got the entire movie in 4 minutes
he gives the summary in the first half and then psycho-socio-analysis in the 2nd half.
+Sweet Nasty "Sly fox...dumb bunny."
"I'm not, a dumb, bunny."
"Right...and that's not wet cement."
for serious tho, why do animators want to make rabbit's so appealing? like, really really appealing.
dac314 I got a raging Thumper in my pants if you know what I mean.
well, lol rabbits specifically because they are very proliferate breeders
Shut up furries. Freaks

Autism Robotrix ... best comment
I literally watched this an hour ago. Great timing guys!
I had just got done watching it because people were analyzing it so much.
+ZenGaijin same
"The Mac Movement, which was a sleeker but more expensive movement" is probably he best joke I've heard all week.
*THE best joke
Very underappreciated joke. But there were a lot of good ones so it's easy to miss.
Gotta love that click bait arrow in the thumbnail.
ikr
Tbh. It's a wisecrack video. So you know you're getting a good video either way
Are they doing it ironically? I don't really get it
+Jaden Strahan No, they're totally serious about it, those click baiting sons o' bitches.
I don't get how it's clickbait?
Did anyone else hear tiny blue watermelon at 2:25 or was that just me?
jesus, you didn't have to point out his mistake. He's not from earth, he doesn't know. How can you be so insensitive?
Yes, it's a joke >_>
Because if you look closely the blueberries have stripes with striking similarity to watermelons yet it is blue
have any of the wisecrack shows done Birdman yet?
Not yet!
I'd really like to see that.
+Wisecrack I'm new to this channel and my thought is what's with the eyebrows
woah dude... could you be any more racist?
Do it, goshdarn.
"Sex partners? That's for the viewer to decide. And draw. And send to me." Well, I am a bored artist so uh
Yay!
I wonder how many pictures are going to be sent?
all of them
+Trizzl Fizzl ALL OF THEM!!!
all of them.
+Trizzl Fizzl all of them.
***** ALL OF THEM!!!!!
that little talking heads reference made me so happy fa fa fa faaa
I appreciate how this show can make even the most terrifying scenes look like a cakewalk, and that's due to its nonchalant and humorous delivery. Kudos! :)
i lost it when he said "in the judie and nick of time"
well at end of the movie they do say
Nick: you know you love me
Judy: do I know that?
Judy: yes. yes I do
ambiguous
@@malepig420 not in the German version of the movie lol
...why did Thumper come *after* Lola Bunny on your list?
Thar ain't Thumper, buddo. That's his gf.
Giulia Sthefany Salustiano Well that's slightly less disturbing, but my point still stands; why does the realistically drawn Disney bunny come after Lola?
Connor Tyler Why wouldn't it? It's a cartoon rabbit, it seems rather rational.
The lesson is if we get rid of all the freaks and uggos we can all live in harmony. Heartwarming.
I just watched this movie yesterday and now this is uploaded! That's freaky 😂
it's a conspiracy
Lol me too
Same here
Good now that you are all here, the prophecy can be fulfilled.
Exactly the same for me! I thought wisecrack needed to make a vid on this because this movie was deep with politics. Personally I liked the sloths at the dmv 😂
this was entertaining. you are getting better at human understanding, keep up the good work
I'll have to watch this one tonight.
wait...if carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores live all together in harmony, what do the carnivores eat? Are they gonna go to the store and see packed meat and ask, Bob is that where you went?
Instead of graveyards, they have meat shops. And where we have Coroners, they have butchers. Rather than burying all their dead citizens they utilize the meat off their bodies to feed portions of the overly large population.
I have a feeling its humans. I mean it makes sense. But disney wont reveal that for obvious reasons
Come on, analyze Birdman Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) already!
Maybe they are being virtuous by simply ignoring it.
The meaning is not hidden it is only vague.
+Chandler Gloyd none of the meanings they analyze are hidden! They just user that as a click bait title bro
There is no hidden message in that movie, it's clear and simple in the get go.
Yeah the zootopia meaning was pretty obvious
You know, I never noticed how many mamals there are in this movie. that is kinda weird.
Movies have a weird bias against everything else except Mammals and usually don't make them anthro.
Antz, A Bugs Life, Finding Nemo, Bee Movie, Dino Time, Shark Tale, Flushed Away, The Ant Bully and plenty more.. so yeah, It's def not biased.
...and with that, you win the discussion!
There were two reasons for that:
1) The final product was made within 17 months.
There are ONLY mammals in Zootopia (the city). They specifically said so.
That's for the viewers to decide
...and draw
...and send to me
Loved the Psycho Killer reference, Garrix Wormloid is really deep into Earthling's culture
are those eyebrows real
+Buff Butt what else would they be?!
Surreal.
Magical hibernating caterpillars?
+Zephyr Zero no
That's inappropriate to ask
You bring up a good point about the Reptiles, Birds and Bugs and such. I guess there was a purge that the movie neglected to mention.
The great thing here is that there are no "power dynamics" at play in this world. Predator and prey alike both face prejudice, and they both defy stereotypes. They are both in positions of power, and they are both oppressed.
Definitely one of the best animated movies this year. Good episode.
DO ANGRY BIRDS AND HOW IT REPRESENTS THE EUROPEAN MIGRANT CRISIS
YOU FORGOT A SPOILER WARNING.
OH WAIT I'M NOT WATCHING THAT PIECE OF CRAP.
1) I didn't spoil anything, so your joke doesn't work
2) You haven't seen it so you can't pass judgement
+Big Ray 3) It's a horrible movie and a shameless money grab with no substance.
Big Ray Can't blame me for not seeing past your sarcasm.
I watched Zootopia with my son, and I thought it was garbage! Angry Birds is the one with a strong message of cultural preservation and the ills of Islam!
im not a big movie fan, but this might just be my favorite YT channel
"To be her unpaid intern",that one got me 🤣🤣
Wormuloid: "Easy, peezy, lemon sneezy"
*sneezes in real life*
Wormuloid: "God bless you"
*cue X-Files theme*
One question, if it is commonly known that those blue onions make people go save, why do they grow them?
They kill insects on farms.
so it seems genocide on poor insects is acceptable. i guess we were fooled by the "good guys" behaviour all along xD
I'm so glad I found this channel. You guys come up with really good interpretations from movies.
I wonder what the sequel is going to be about.
kittensofdeath you can find some leaked concept art and plot planning comics on Tumblr and e621
The little sound effects you add to the muted clips are absolutely hilarious to me
Earthling Cinema: Don't Hug Me I'm Scared?
I like how this is explained, but I saw Film Theory about a month ago and learned much tho, props to Matt Pat
They also forgot bats (even though they're mammals smh)
MatPat and his theories sent me here. Love what you're doing!!!!
This is a type kid to sit in class and actually take notes on dam movie
This is about the single greatest thing ever. Not only did you annihilate the pc bullshit, but also made hit the floor laughing.
They break all the animal stereotypes. The sly fox gets an honest job. Me: and the lion is voiced by J.K Simons. Oh wait never mind...
"That's for the the viewers to decide... and draw... and send to me" you have earned a thumbs up sir
Maybe Hollywood is attracted to Bunnies?
This movie made me cry because I actually traded all of the words with colors and it was just so heart touching.
They made the mayor a lion because he's LYIN'!!!
Even though it's technically not "cinema" I would love to see you guys do a video on "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" .
😂😂😂 I'm in love with Earthling Cinema!!
I subbed just today after these being in my recc. for a while..😅
Where Judy works was said to be heavily mammal populated. But I guess they'll include other animals in the species.
Does anyone else have a serious crush on Garyx?
Just subscribed! AMAZING channel love your delivery man! Enjoyed every bit of it! 10/10!
Wait sorry I just made this connection, but is this the same guy who does cinema sins?
This series and this video are great.
Can you do the Cornetto Trilogy?
I just fell in love with this channel
Don't think that I missed that Talking Heads reference, dude
That was surprisingly well done and thought out...Bravo.
I like that Beastmode into Marshawn Lynch pun, pretty clever, especially since it's describing the fox who is perceived to be the clever one.
I noticed that too.. There is only land animals no animals that fly or swim, or have any connection to the water or air. I thought that's because it would make it a sci-fi/horror flick
Or a set up for a sequel where they go to a bird city or a Atlantis styled fish city, my theory at least
Not even just land animals- just not anything but specific mammals.
Hippos
We already have movies featuring fish cities... Finding Nemo, Finding Dory and The Little Mermaid... Aquaman if you into DC comic universe.
Zootopia is my favorite movie. I'm surprised you didn't have a ton to say about it other than the stuff that's pretty much implied.
I've seen this a couple times, and, is it just me, or are there No primates at all? i can understand the lack of humans, but no primates at all? i don't really understand that choice, but pff whatever, not my movie. still interesting to note them among all the other left out species.

+Red Cloud they left out birds and reptiles too. They only wanted mammals
primates are mammals...
They are saving those for the sequels
Trust me there will be sequels.
1:23
I love how he used the pun "Nick of time" when that's actually the name of the song in the score for that scene.
DO DEADPOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLZ!!!

love you

+Woodshadow woooaaaahhhhh dude thats one interesting theory
Exactly for being an animated movie it was surprisingly deep in that sense
Its Muslims vs White people? Um, its Muslims vs everyone sweetie
I love this channel and host!
It still bothers me they say "mammal inclusion initiative." They're all goddamn mammals.
"He goes beast mode but don't lynch him just yet" I see what you did there. Marshawn Lynch
Someone should draw Judy and nick not having sex and send them to him
Please do Drive, Sin City, or Birdman sometime! Love this series
And my IQ doubles yet again lol
Wow SUBBED! I've never subbed to someone by just watching one of their videos. Nice job
I noticed it too... no reptiles, amphibians, fish, or insects. Not even a nod to the existence of such life forms. This movie was blindly mammal-centric.

Maybe the Zootopian restaurants sell chicken burgers and fried frogs to the carnivores. It's still not terribly fair to all of the non-mammals, but it at least solves the 'what do the carnivores eat' issue.
I know predators instead ate insects for their protein source (as seen by the bug burger deleted scene)
The directors talked about that being a possible plot point for another movie at a future time.
There were insects in the movie. Anyone remember where? I do.
"and send to me" just made me subscribe well done sir
did anyone else see, alien tries to understand

Too much porn of zootopia, or maybe not enough =D
Don't worry, MLP is still well in the lead.

I think Zootopia has surpassed Frozen in porn already.
