Yanis has grown so much over this year, and has been gaining such skills along the way. His English is coming great guns. I’m so happy to see a young man gaining what he needs to carry him successfully through the rest of his life.🖤🇨🇦
Yannis' English is improving. It's wonderful how the Pethericks are helping this young man. Love you guys. This is definitely my favorite RUclips channel.
I actually started watching Billy at the convent first before I knew about chateau or Michael. The whole family is a treasure. Love this RUclips channel!
When Billy showed the kitchen a few years ago I found it hard to believe that he'd ever get around to that. What a project! It's huge, mysterious, grand, and worth the effort.
To some of us, the reparation/renovation of the chateau kitchen is such a special gift, because we have been hoping to see this happen for a long time. This incredible chateau cannot fully function without a kitchen, and this kitchen, as much work as it is, can be as fabulous as the convent kitchen (although uniquely different). You all are absolutely "cracking on," and the results are awe-inspiring.
You know why piggy is running to the cow barn because pigs need mud to roll in for their skin as well as get wet. You should get 2 kiddy pools, make one muddy and a swimming pool with just water. Then, piggy might stay in his yard.
When I was a child on a tour of a huge cave in the Appalachian mountains, they explained to us that stalactites cling "tight" to the ceiling, and that if stalagmites get dripped on enough, they "might" grow up to meet the stalactites and make a column. That was how they taught us to tell them apart!
Well done, Michael. That one shot of the ceiling really puts the enormity of the job into perspective. It is going to look amazing. Can hardly wait to see the floor. Nothing is worth it if you didn't work for it!
I must say, I am so impressed! 😮🤩When you first showed us the kitchen and said you were gonna renovate it I honestly thought you had gone mad 🫣. In my opinion that kitchen was too fare gone... Most of all because of all the water, moist and damp 💦Rot and deterioration. 🤢 I cannot have that. It gives me the chill. But you have done magic! ❤The room now looks so dry and "clean" from all that humidity. Now it sparkles and shouts out how happy it is and suddenly I can see all it can become. I now believe that the kitchen will be as wonderful as the one in the convent. A real Downton abbey kitchen. Well done all of you guys 👏💪
Another marvel Billy. You make renovating look like a cinematic experience 👏👏 special mention Rick bathed in light, and the gentle rolling of dust in the air. Well done!
You should be wearing respirators and proper ppe not just with the glass particles you are all breathing in, but also with the lead content or possibility of asbestos in a lot of the material in the chateau. Be safe
I am asthmatic at 70 yrs with major lung problems because of breathing dust, textile fibers, cleaning chemicals, etc from all the years of a 43yr dry cleaning business of my mothers.. I wish they had made us wear masks at work all those years.. All you young fellows might not think it’s a big deal now but an older you will probably wish you had been just a bit more careful at this job.. Crack on, you lovely boys.. I’m enjoying every moment.. Just letting my motherly instincts give you some advice .. 💜💜💜💜
Please put a gopro on the pig. I'd love to see it's explore the grounds. I'd love to see the dogs doing a run through the woods. Is there any chance of another Chateau tour 😊.
Add Martin to the mix! Every person who is involved in any aspect of the renovation is most knowledgeable and full of personality. Makes the work day go smoothly.
What a treat to see Michael's kitchen with the Blue Willow again! It's a great reminder of how far you all have come. Kuddos to Martin allowing Michael to try his hand at the sand blasting. Not every professional would allow someone else to use their equipment.
Billy we haven't seen you on camera for while, are you well? Michael seems to have found his joy again and it's wonderful to see him Cracking On! He started all of this and was missed terribly by so many of us. Thank you for sneak peaks at parts of the Chateau and out buildings Chateau de la Basmaignée is Beautiful!
Such ridiculous names - if it were "ceiling stones" and "floor stones" everybody would understand right away. - In Icelandic they are both called "Dropasteinar" drop stones.
The new kitchen it coming along so well. I can’t believe how far you have gotten in such a short amount of time. It is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see the full transformation. ❤️
Wow, learning a new trade - how totally super fantastic Michael! Thank you soooooo much for allowing us to view your Gardner's Cottage Kitchen, and thrilled to see the Spode back in the kitchen - it is sooooooooooooooo you. I truly believe the new kitchen in the Chateau is going to be gorgeous.
Oh how I missed Rick’s beautiful face. His smile lights up the room. I’m enjoying watching the new content with the chateau. I started watching shortly after you bought the convent, so that’s what I’ve been used to, but this is interesting new stuff. And Michael is a nice addition now, too.
"One small step for sandblasting. One giant leap for the Chateau kitchen" - Michael looking as though he's moonwalking ha! ha! Well done all on a real slog of a week. 👍
WOW, it just looks so much better already ❤ Rick & Yannis are soo great 👍. With Michael in the mix its such a treat & loving this behind the scenes filming from you Billy. ❤❤ celebrate 🎉these special days & CRACK-ON 😉.
Great progress! You might have already thought of this but I would spray/brush on rust converter to neutralize any active rust, even on the concrete to ensure it does not bubble up later on.
Great job Michael…you are so detail oriented . The kitchen is going to be a marvel. The best place for a cuppa tea and and biscuit. 🫖 🍪 ❤ Thé opening drone images of the video of the Chateau are gorgeous.
Loved Rick & Yanis' opening. Great music, especially violin Enjoyed organ piece yesterday (?) -- Michael playing? So interesting to see all the skills & incredible hard work. Comparing the Convent kitchen transformation, this kitchen will be just as amazing, but not over a year of hard work. Crack on!
It's great to have Michael back! His personality and energy are magnetic.
Yes, his personality is so fun.
AGREED!!
Magnetic is a perfect description!
Michael’s rizz is pure. As someone a fraction of my age would say.
Yanis has grown so much over this year, and has been gaining such skills along the way. His English is coming great guns. I’m so happy to see a young man gaining what he needs to carry him successfully through the rest of his life.🖤🇨🇦
It’s so wonderful to see Michael so enthusiastic about a project. Love seeing him smiling and laughing.
This kitchen is going to be fabulous!
The nano second view of Michael's kitchen looks so lovely! So cottage like.
Michael, Yanis and Rick are incredibly hard workers. Also, I love that Billy is doing the filming.
You can tell, Michael has been dreaming about this day for years> he is soo happy! 🎉🎉🎉❤
This has become my new favorite RUclips series, I'm hooked to see this chateau and convent being restored.
I’ve been watching since before they bought the covenant. It’s a great “ride”. I agree, it’s my favorite. Michael and Sadie’s channels are fun too.
This is always my go to when I get in from work. X
Oh so love the addition of Michael and RICK
Welcome to the club!!❤
So glad that the algorithm. Let me discover you two years ago. Been a great ride.
So great to see Rick, Yannis, Michael all working together! Crack on!
All of you should be wearing masks to clean up the dust.
Agreed!!!!!
It kills me to watch them not wearing masks...
Yeah, didn’t Michael say it was little bits of glass used to remove the rust??? Yikes having that in your lungs😮
@@benquackenbush3336silicosis is fun 😊
I reckon.
Yannis' English is improving. It's wonderful how the Pethericks are helping this young man. Love you guys. This is definitely my favorite RUclips channel.
It is a blessing, and very happy that Yanis is happy with The Phedericks. Fantastic family.
Take care of Sadie, too.
I love all you guys so please please wear masks while demolishing that old rust. It will prevent emphysema in later years.
Rick and Yuannis are adorable!
Michael is the one that got me watching shows like this. I am glad to see him back. He is an amazing soul!!!
I actually started watching Billy at the convent first before I knew about chateau or Michael. The whole family is a treasure. Love this RUclips channel!
Same.

I hope they read the comments now
Michael's thriving doing this project. It's a joy to watch 😊
Wonderful to see the floor has kept dry through the changing weather. The sealing of the porch has paid off. Huzzah.
Definitely agree. He’s been great and a joy to watch on this project.

Loved the brief glimpse of Michael’s cottage with the famous Aga.
I really enjoy having Michael back in the mix. He, like all of you, is very talented.
Well done, Michael. That one shot of the ceiling really puts the enormity of the job into perspective. It is going to look amazing. Can hardly wait to see the floor. Nothing is worth it if you didn't work for it!
Great to see Michael’s cottage. This is so fantastic and Billy’s filming is great!
Michael going loopy reminds me of Billy after that endless grind of tiling in the kitchen. Hillarious!
For the sand blaster, his new catch phrase could be “let’s Blast On!”

After a late night, and loads of work, it’s no wonder you were a “bit delirious”! Your sense of humor, however, remained intact👍💕
It’s a mammoth job getting rid of all that rust but what an achievement when it’s Done. Mighty effort by everyone.
Love Michael ❤ It was fun to see that quick view of his kitchen.
@@almawebber Seeing the greenhouse would be great but I think his bedroom should be kept private.

It’s the Pethericks time .. yipee 👏👏❤️

I'm laughing when Michael 's laughing! Love seeing him happy

That kitchen transformation is stunning!! Great work all of you. Billy, your artistic filming is beautiful.
Guys if there was glass particles used in the sandblasting process , you’re breathing IT IN ! WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER !!! Eye protection too
Please put a gopro on the pig. I'd love to see it's explore the grounds. I'd love to see the dogs doing a run through the woods. Is there any chance of another Chateau tour 😊.
Those are some loyal workers you have showing up like this for every manner of unusual punishment with a smile on their faces ready to do a great job.
Add Martin to the mix! Every person who is involved in any aspect of the renovation is most knowledgeable and full of personality. Makes the work day go smoothly.
Its great to see Michael so well and enthusiastic. Also it's been nice to see how well Yanis has got on,nothing seems to phase him ,well done Yanis.
Michael IS BACK and we love him🩷
What a treat to see Michael's kitchen with the Blue Willow again! It's a great reminder of how far you all have come. Kuddos to Martin allowing Michael to try his hand at the sand blasting. Not every professional would allow someone else to use their equipment.
I do miss Billy's face! Yannis and Rick are real consistent grafters💪🏻👍🏻
Michael your cottage is just lovely
So much love to the people that made, preserved, and gave you the drawings. ❤
Michael, every time I see your kitchen I am so jealous of that beautiful AGA you restored❤
I sand blast at work all the time. It's neat to see a dirty product become clean again.
You are all hysterical with fatigue!!!! Your enthusiasm is contagious. So entertaining!!!!!!

Monty needs a friend to hang out with. lol
I understand that drive to always learn and grow, keep learning Michael even if it’s only a few hours.
You guys really should be wearing resperators.. always.. working in there. Take care.
It’s 3:40am here in Queensland Australia. I have terrible insomnia and love watching you every morning.

The chateau kitchen is beginning to feel loved. When the kitchen is finished, it will be stunning!
I can't wait to see how the kitchen floor turns out. Great job, guys. 😊🏴
Luv seeing Michael again!❤
Do you not agree that he was having a blast with the sandblaster? And, of course Yanis with the power washer! Men with power tools!

Love the music!😊
The vlogs are getting better every time! Love that Michael is back and I can't wait to see his plans for the kitchen.
Michaels kitchen is absolutely gorgeous 😊
stala-c-tites = ceiling (c), stala-g-mites = ground (g)
Enid Blyton told the famous Five that stalactites had to hold on tight to the ceiling and stalagmites might reach up to the ceiling.
Such ridiculous names - if it were "ceiling stones" and "floor stones" everybody would understand right away. - In Icelandic they are both called "Dropasteinar" drop stones.
Back in my school days, I recall being taught - boys, remember, that the tights come down.
@@timc3600 T*ts hang down. Works even better in German (Stalaktiten - T*tten).
Michael has a wonderful laugh ❤❤❤
Michael is doing an amazing amount of work in a short amount of time. Two thumbs up.
I could watch you break up stalagmites all day! It's like ASMR. This kitchen transformation has been really fun to watch.
I think Micheal should do a camping night out in the woods and cook a meal…outside.
It be fun .
You are a great personality Michael. Lovely to smile along with you. Can't wait to see more of the kitchen renovation. (South Africa)
You should be wearing masks. You don’t want to breathe in that fine sand.
The disregard for health and safety will catch up with the guys. Too sick with damaged lungs to enjoy the chateau.
Yes they need to becareful u only have one pair of lungs..
MASKS, MASKS, MASKS guys!!!!
Great job with the filming and editing, Billy. But I miss seeing you.
The new kitchen it coming along so well. I can’t believe how far you have gotten in such a short amount of time.
It is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see the full transformation. ❤️
Wow Billy! Did you feel like you were filming a space invader? Bravo Michael!
Michael the quick view of your cottage was lovely. So homey!
I love the change from the convent. Was considering backing out however the change brought me back🤭😀😀yes. Keep switching it up

Michael when I see you without knee pads my knees hurt. I am 70 and my knees aren't as young as I would like. You are doing a great job.
