I saw your post on Maria's channel who also dealt with ovarian cancer. As a P.A, a medial professional and cancer survivor of a stage IV cancer where I was given a 10% chance of survival, I know what one has to endure including all the ups and downs. I would love to hear how you are holding up. Meantime I am sending you prayers & virtual hugs. 🙏🏻✝️📿🌿🌹
My mother is also suffering from ovarian cancer. Doctor suggested 3 chemos followed by surgery and again 3 chemos. I hope it will work well for my mother. We are terrified but your story gave us inspiration. Keep inspiring us. Wishing best of luck from Calcutta.
I'm so glad to see you up and about. Some potatoes are better than none. I didn't have an awesome year for potatoes. I just pulled all my tropical plants inside here in Illinois. We have already had a few freezing days. Take care. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Cheers....Ann
Thanks for sharing your growing story. I just bought 7 little seed potatoes of Russian banana (for $7 😮)only to go shopping the next week and find our store had little bags of Russian banana fingerling potatoes for eating lol $4.30 for 1 and half pounds lol. We've actually bought 3 bags since they've been in the store and i selected any that had green on them or sprouting. I have a good couple pounds chitted and ready to go into the garden this week. I grew French fingerling last year and they were really good. I only had 6 potatoes and got 4 pounds back. I saved about 2 pounds worth to replant this year as my family loved them. They love them boiled till done then I smash them with a cup and spri kle olive oil and seasoning on them and popped right in the oven. I wish I could help but here in michigan I've been having slug issues too the past couple years. I have a cheap set of tongs and I lay damp news print on the ground and roll it over and pick them off the paper for the chickens.
It’s a 5 gallon bucket but it is only half full of soil. The potato plant looked very much alive and the potatoes being still attached indicate they weren’t mature. Ild say that’s a pretty good harvest for a 2 1/2 gallon pot.
We actually got a lot of potatoes. I’m glad someone is good at math. Lol Ty for the hard mental work which my brain is having problems with from the chemo.

Glad to see you out and about. It’s a shame it’s been so rainy for you. But you were still able to harvest potatoes so it’s a good harvest. 😁
Thanks. You’re one of my favourite people to watch doing potato reveals. God bless you for improved health 😊
Ty Rainbow.
Nice to hear from you. Glad you’re doing good.
Ty Deb.

I will never complain about the heat again.

Ty so much.
Has anyone heard from Cathy?
@ a sq foot per bucket , 20 sq ft would be 20 lb avg. not bad ..
