    The scale on the right in landing mode is barometric altitude. It just maxes out at 1900 ft. The f1 doesn't have any kind of radar altimeter so it cant really tell where the ground is. Also If you turn the yaw/anti slip switch (its below the parking brake) to the middle position, it helps with the squirreliness on takeoff and landing. It seems to add random rudder trim which affects nose wheel steering on the ground. Great Flying!

    I will always watch F1 content, I adore the F1 on enigmas. Great flying skills yet again!

    I was the A10 you shot at 4:45! For whatever reason, when you shot my tail/engines, it counted me as dead even before the R60 splashed me, so according to DCS logic you did kill me. Very nice video, love your content

    Burning engines don't mean anything in DCS?! That's sad and surprising to hear.
    Beautiful Mirage F1 video, thanks :)

    Pls more F1 Videos 👍
    I always like to use the 530 against Sabre because this missiles like to turn much more than the aim 9P. The downside of the 530 is that he really like to eat flair’s but thankfully Sabre has no flair‘s😉
    PS: I love your content

    That engine fire thing is a bug with the F-5, had it happen countless times. Very annoying!

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  11 месяцев назад

      Is it actually? I’ve encountered it a bunch but not sure how to confirm it.
      It’s not like I’m aware my own engines are burning or not when I’m flying it if it is a bug.

      Think its when you get a glancing hit on the fuselage, maybe performance is reduced but not gone, I've got hits like that and seen the same F-5 5 mins later in a dogfight...

      I had the same thought at the time, always struggle to get tone with R-60s, I guess the 9P might have a better seeker

    when landing, a good rule is once you're on final, never drop below 7k rpm. get to and hold 160 kts after flaps and gear are both fully down. fuck aoa, just get on the ground using FPM and reasonable descent rate, pop chute, and avoid steering as long as you can (unless you're gentle on the rudder, but fuck knows that's near impossible sometimes).

      Is it really harder than the mig 21?

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  5 месяцев назад +1

      For me it is, thought it has seen some changes that make it far easier now than it was on release.
      Like anything it’s just a case of working out what it likes and then practicing, I think I have them down pat pretty nicely now, though aerobraking is still a struggle.

    question, is there any reason you arent playing the E variant since it pretty much just is the more capable version?

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  11 месяцев назад +3

      It’s point locked on ECW, I’ll get around to it eventually though - need to learn how it differs from the CE.

    To be fair that plane is way too OP for that server...if a Tomcat w/ terrible fox 1's needs to be limited or mig 29....why is the server crawling with those???? Makes no sense

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  11 месяцев назад

      The CE really isn’t all that, and it isn’t allowed any radar missiles.
      MiG-21 is better in all but cruising speed with a full payload.
      The EE is allowed slightly better radar missiles but is point restricted like the Tomcat and Fulcrum, but again, it’s nowhere close to being as good as either of them.
      Would get more work done, more easily in an F-5.

      @@Bullet4MyEnemy Well considering theyre kinematicly untouchable by any missle on blue if they simply keep the burner plugged they don't lose energy and can somehow pull lead on any of the blue planes with a wing designed to go fast and straight.....I C no scenario which a mig 21 is as effective at getting in and getting out considering the God mode gci makes radar redundant unless you need it to guide a missle

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  10 месяцев назад +5

      Do you have the Mirage?
      Because it sounds like you’re imbuing it with mystical qualities to justify your struggle to counter it.
      There’s no such thing as “kinematically untouchable”, what do you even mean by that?

    • @skykingdash8
      @skykingdash8 8 месяцев назад

      For real... It's not as untouchable as everyone thinks. I tried hit and run tactics on a pair of A-10's thinking I'd be safe. Couldn't get behind them so I flew past 600kts pulled up to 13k ft to reset and boom, sidewinder on my tail.

      @@skykingdash8
      Yup, especially since P3s were added, you can't afford to not see anyone who gets within 2 miles/4km because those things will catch you at alarmingly high aspect and speed.
