They added more scavs to streets and I lost performance again. After the updates I was able to get back up to 80fps with a 1080 on Streets. Now Im back down to 50-60 with stutters. Kinda sucks.

You don't have to try it if you've already played the game and know how it works at more than a rudementary level. Same as Landmark was saying. It looks ass because it's going to make armor near worthless. whether the system functions as intended or not is irrelevent. Making armor only cover the tiniest portion of your body and head means you'll fall over dead extremely easily from even scavs with the worst ammo.

For armor, it seems like there will be armor that is pre-defined (for the example given, level 3) meaning that ammo that breaks level 2 or less will struggle against the level 3 armor and will keep your additional armor protected. Then if someone has level 3 and starts breaking through your level 3 armor, you have the level 6 armor to stop. I guess it's just extra protection against worse ammo types.

Finally loadout presets. Something we really needed for people who keep getting head, eyes by Landmark just so we can enter the raids faster just to do it again. I remember mentioning loadout presets to combat the problem with downtime after each death having go through stash to put on gear, a gun, and load ammo. I just remember someone kept saying it's a bad idea and it won't work, I dunno what was going on with that guy's head but look how far we come now. I guess we will see how they do this feature
For the objectives (A/B) it might be that each round it is changed, so for example first round you play on A side and second one on B side.. or at least something like that
My guess is that the maps are scaled in arena. So for the Airport map, there is just an X because it is a small grunge match arena (likely with side switching like MW2 had with slaughterhouse). The outside woods looking map had B as the name likely because while it is the ONLY objective for that round, the map overall probably cycles between different parts of the map for objective, and it all comes together for a possible domination game?
I dont think it will be buggy but players will die a lot easier. The armor will no longer be the magical armor we have now, the armored areas will only be where the plate is - that will make a lot more weapons viable.

TTK wont change for people who ran lower tier armor but for those who always ran the best armor relying on the magical protection - yes TTK will be faster on those players. Plates will be the armor, same as in real life, hopefully it will force a more tactical playstyle rather than the CoD stuff we have had the last few years.
If they are making proctection to specific areas (which is interesting) then maybe reducing collateral damage or changing it in a way it injures you instead of adding up to death..
The recoil doesnt need to be anything special I truly dont know why they feel the need to die on this hill. The recoil just needs to have either a normal system that every other successful shooter game has done. Or they need to make it so the gun jumps around in a circle and with better mods the circle becomes tighter. As in the gun actually goes into your shoulder.

If you were wondering why the VUDU had terrible eye relief - in their test build the FOV stays the same wheter you are ADS'd or not. If you look closely, he aims down his sight and the FOV doesn't change, as it does in the live build. It's just an FOV issue.
Yes and you can reach this "bug" also in the current game For this you just have to go into ads, hold down the middle mouse button and slowly move left/right or up/down. Then the weapon "slides" forward and you have the same view as in the video. Clean has a video on his channel where he shows how it is done He plays Tarkov only like this. I find it irritating^^
It makes chad load outs into 2 tiers. The light tier (the meta stuff) vs The Heavy Tier (non meta high lvl armors.). Its just bringing the bulkier high tiers into relevancy. No reason a Slick should be the same effectiveness as a lvl 6 gen armor.
Unmodified, no breath holding, no mounted surface interface, i think the recoid should be a bit jumpy. Although if im standing still holding my breath, idk why the single shot especially would be so dramatic. All around id be happy with it though. Exciting changes.

The armor changes are pretty straight forward and seem ok, unless there's an RNG aspect to hit zones like the thorax which would not be the best. Most body armor systems like the THORE have a frag layer (level 3) between your body and the molle, and there's additional space in which ESAPI and side plates plates with a given armor value (level 6) go into. Some armor systems, like the slick, have the same frag underneath the molle but don't cover the spaces that THOR armor does but you'll still be able to insert level 6 plates. Essentially, the body armor will work as it appears and will have low (level 3) frag armor without plates, and an additional armor value (level 6) when plates are inserted. I don't know how fun it will be if there's an RNG value to exposed areas like the thorax or if these changes render the armor component of the game almost useless...

Its a timeline from left to right. Where the bar ends is when it gets implemented. For the first wipe, they all end where it says WIPE, so they will be added at wipe. For the December wipe, some end early and therefor will be release MID wipe, and the rest AT wipe. It took me a min to understand too/
The armor plate changes are good. If you take any sort of shot to the thorax or neck, you should go down. If you're worried about it, wear the bigger armor and move slower as a result. It shouldn't be the case where people are discouraged from jumping in to Tarkov because they're "getting a late start in the wipe". Level the playing field a bit.

They will have to do a lot of rebalancing to make new armor meta viable. You see quite often how people get shot a dozen times with 9mm and survive, police getting a faceful of buck and staying alive. Being a glass cannon will make fighting any npc above regular scavs a nightmare, especially when they can eat multiple headshots with no helmet but they can kill us with stray buck pellet to the knee or collarbone
It's like IRL where a plate carriers covers the vitals in the chest but you can still get the hell blown out of your upper and side chest and still die to a chest wound

Neck hitbox will make many armors useless, like hexgrid and slick, will most likely never see use anymore. They need to add neck protection to some armours otherwise Korund will be better than Redut or Defender, which is really really odd... High pen ammo will have no value, since everyone will die with one shot with BCP.
wow if they actually make armor like that then ks-23 will be even more OP, just aim upper thorax area and one of the pellets will hit a spot the armor isnt covering and then instant death.
tbh i really like the recoil, its not the scope moving for once its the actual gun, the way the optic is on and off the target is very similar to life instead of that dumbass first 3 rounds go to the moon recoil we have this is fire. it also has that aggression when holding down the trigger of how the gun shakes but still maintains accuracy
I think the recoil looks interesting. Will only really tell when we get to actually use it. That semi auto dancing around needs to be like halved though. Overall looks like YOU control the recoil more until the end where the auto control takes over and it doesnt pull down. I really want to see what recoil looks like while being controlled and not just letting it spray up the wall though.
I hope they bring it to console, to be fair they way the new consoles are currently they can definitely handle the game. Introducing a bigger audience to the game is also never a bad thing a lot to be excited for.
I quit this game because the realism aspect took over the fun aspect, now i can come back and die to a neck shot with a slick and altyn on, such a positive change for the game lol. Maybe it wont be that bad, still love watching lvndmark smack folks!
instead of the healing portions part why not just make it heal ur thorax always and head always first then the other body parts it just makes more sense then adding a scroll wheel to heal
i play controller, no aim assist and its no big deal. YES you dont get all the keys but all the keys that matter are there. hybrid with mouse for looting and no issues
So guys - plate carriers gonna be useless anywhere? except large maps like Woods where players usually shoot thorax area. But a lot of unpopular 4 class armor (like Osprey, RBAV) will have same plates and competetive.
armor changes will make 90% of armors useless now I don't see the point of these new hit boxes everyone will just wear the best armor or no armor and a cheap Shattered lightweight armored mask or something.

I am going to assume that either hexgrids and slicks will be heavily devalued as lower tier level 6 armor or they will be getting re-modeled in game to be a little larger on the player model and protect more. These changes are good and bad, good because makes the game even more immersive with real life. Bad because it's still a video game and complete real life aspects wont work (people tanking shots while shooting keder into neck/side meta vs real life getting dropped just as quickly)
Regarding the limb healing...you said that we will get used to it because it's in a fixed order....But I believe that if the head is not damaged, it will not appear in the list...hence possible issues if you are not paying attention...And you can't say that you can see the damaged areas on the upper left corner where your character health status is...because if you take 1 damage, you can't notice the difference between the green hue which is not damaged and the one which is slightly damaged...Therefore you will always have to pay attention to the limb list, and after that you can decide how many times do you need to scroll to heal what you want. Not saying that it's not a good thing, just saying that it's not as simple as you thought.

At first time when I saw it I thought about Stalker recoil when you need to pull down gun by your mouse (no autocompensation). It was good recoil but not so high like we have in our the game.
None of those guns had recoil reducing attachments and the PMC probably didn’t have any levels in recoil reduction. It’s not realistic, but way better than the current recoil on naked guns
watch the 762 bp and the stupid mk47 still being the meta, while spear being the regular .300 blk mcx type of shit it's a fantastic gun irl but i'm really sceptical about bsg making it any good lmao
the recoil changes are a huge nerf to single fire... it kicks down to a random location meaning you have to re-aim for every bullet rather than just spraying. Seems like the wrong way to go moving to even more auto-fire meta.

I think the plate system has the potential to be really buggy at first. Remember when you could stack armor ? Gamers were super tanky.

About heal selection. I think i could be much better if you could bind F or any other key for FAK and choose with keys from 1 to 7
Fast pistol swap should work like it does in MW2, with your weapon still up or going down he pulls the pistol with one had

the level 3 armors are all the soft kevlar armor which stacking soft kevlar with hard plates is gonna be kinda sick

Standalone plates are that lvl they are, some plates need 3a behind it that arent standalone. Kinda good they put that in the game
Neck hitbox will make many armors useless, like hexgrid and slick, will most likely never see use anymore. They need to add neck protection to some armours otherwise Korund will be better than Redut or Defender, which is really really odd...
High pen ammo will have no value, since everyone will die with one shot with BCP.

tbh i really like the recoil, its not the scope moving for once its the actual gun, the way the optic is on and off the target is very similar to life instead of that dumbass first 3 rounds go to the moon recoil we have this is fire. it also has that aggression when holding down the trigger of how the gun shakes but still maintains accuracy
Love the recoil change. looks to be a lot more challenging to aim at moving targets at a distance.

I think the recoil looks interesting. Will only really tell when we get to actually use it. That semi auto dancing around needs to be like halved though. Overall looks like YOU control the recoil more until the end where the auto control takes over and it doesnt pull down. I really want to see what recoil looks like while being controlled and not just letting it spray up the wall though.
I hope they bring it to console, to be fair they way the new consoles are currently they can definitely handle the game. Introducing a bigger audience to the game is also never a bad thing a lot to be excited for.
I quit this game because the realism aspect took over the fun aspect, now i can come back and die to a neck shot with a slick and altyn on, such a positive change for the game lol. Maybe it wont be that bad, still love watching lvndmark smack folks!
instead of the healing portions part why not just make it heal ur thorax always and head always first then the other body parts it just makes more sense then adding a scroll wheel to heal

i play controller, no aim assist and its no big deal. YES you dont get all the keys but all the keys that matter are there. hybrid with mouse for looting and no issues

So guys - plate carriers gonna be useless anywhere? except large maps like Woods where players usually shoot thorax area. But a lot of unpopular 4 class armor (like Osprey, RBAV) will have same plates and competetive.
armor changes will make 90% of armors useless now I don't see the point of these new hit boxes everyone will just wear the best armor or no armor and a cheap Shattered lightweight armored mask or something.

The armor changes are what they should be.
I am going to assume that either hexgrids and slicks will be heavily devalued as lower tier level 6 armor or they will be getting re-modeled in game to be a little larger on the player model and protect more. These changes are good and bad, good because makes the game even more immersive with real life. Bad because it's still a video game and complete real life aspects wont work (people tanking shots while shooting keder into neck/side meta vs real life getting dropped just as quickly)
i think the idea of a group of ai coming in after a couple minutes that shoots at both teams is cool
Regarding the limb healing...you said that we will get used to it because it's in a fixed order....But I believe that if the head is not damaged, it will not appear in the list...hence possible issues if you are not paying attention...And you can't say that you can see the damaged areas on the upper left corner where your character health status is...because if you take 1 damage, you can't notice the difference between the green hue which is not damaged and the one which is slightly damaged...Therefore you will always have to pay attention to the limb list, and after that you can decide how many times do you need to scroll to heal what you want.
Not saying that it's not a good thing, just saying that it's not as simple as you thought.

The new recoil looks like the guns dont even have a stock!
At first time when I saw it I thought about Stalker recoil when you need to pull down gun by your mouse (no autocompensation). It was good recoil but not so high like we have in our the game.
None of those guns had recoil reducing attachments and the PMC probably didn’t have any levels in recoil reduction. It’s not realistic, but way better than the current recoil on naked guns
Tarkov is basically mmo, if your character is “strong” it will look way better. And the gun is in stock

the recoil changes are a huge nerf to single fire... it kicks down to a random location meaning you have to re-aim for every bullet rather than just spraying. Seems like the wrong way to go moving to even more auto-fire meta.
Seems like an armor nerf, makes everyone play slower. Less fun for high dollar kits but infinitely more realistic, the unstoppable altyn is hilariously overstat'd to be honest.

Yup definetly, I'm guessing people will start running kits like an ak/m4 or other marksman rifles for medium/far distance and use shotguns in immediate ranges. Intresting. I'm just scared that I have to play the whole start of the wipe with shotguns 😅
I'm out after the armor changes. You can't make a game where the entire progression system revolves around having access to higher tier gear, and then have that gear end up not providing any tangible benefits.
