Do this exercise daily for 2 weeks and come back to this video and let me know if you hear a difference in your chord transitions. Thanks again for watching!
At about 2:47 you played a really beautiful version of the melody in doublestops. Is there an efficient method to learning to visualize those doublestops on a key? I've already learned every note on each string, would it make sense to learn the notes of every scale in each key?
Been watching you for bout a year and I’ve learned more in this year than the 10 years I’ve been playing. Thanks for breaking it down in the way that we can understand and apply.
Hey brother, for what it's worth I just want to share how appreciated you are! You're uniquely gifted and inspire many. Keep shining on the world around you
I just picked up electric about 2 months ago (been on acoustic for 15 years on off. Gives me so much confidence to hear this! I can play everything you just played and that’s exactly how I’ve developed practicing as well ❤️
I've said it before, I'll say it again, you have the best visual setup for showing how to finger the fretboard. I can actually see what you're doing and tell which strings you're fretting. Kudos!
This was dope.. been wanting to start learning.. the beginners course.. is for NEW never played before people? or do I need to have some skills already? I need to start at the beginning beginning. haha.. thanks for sharing your skills!
Thanks Kerry for always bringing great guitar playing and sharing great guitar thoughts with us all. Besides your impeccable virtuoso guitar playing, what seperate you as being the G.O.A.T, is your generosity and willingness to make all guitar players better!! A big THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU! From all guitarist everywhere!🙌🏽🎸🥰🙏🏽
Love this! I was actually practicing something similar the other day - looping a two chord progression and practicing soloing mainly chord tones in different positions as musically as possible.
damn dog u really are 2 smooth. thanks for the video, this is a great exercise i have already done a bit naturally trying to get between chords but you gave some new ideas! loved how short and concise this was without slacking on the content.
Hey Kerry, Just came across your page, you sound great man. Question???? What guitar effect pedals would you recommend us getting to get that guitar sound for R&B-Neo-soul music? Thanks V
Damn man.... I feel so stupid I haven't done this more... nice job! When I improv licks I normal only do 2 or 3 note chords because I'm not smooth enough, but I also sort of separated in my head as playing chords verses other. Thanks
Great Lesson! But i have a little suggestion: Take a seperate Micro, because your sound needs to be improved. No front, im thankfull you share your knowledge with us.
Kerry I would like to ask you one thing. I'm thinking to buy an amp for home. What do you think about Fender Champion 600 5W is a good option? What amps you use for the Neo Soul sound? Valves or transistor? Best regards bro!
Bro do you have a beginner course that tells you where to start what to practise in order etc. Like a course that i can buy cause its so taxing on the energy trying to find videos on youtube lol. Please reply
Just dripping with soul 🤌🏼. You’ve just inspired me to improve on so many things. So many directions to go when you start with the simplicity of two chords. This has completely opened up my mind and I feel like it’s already unlocked my creativity with a simple idea: the simpler you start, the more directions you can go. Having more chords in your progression can actually be limiting, especially to newer players like me. Because now I can focus on artistic expansion and expression instead of the chord progression. Then once I master a few saucy techniques I can apply them to more complex chord progressions. I’m excited to add this to my drills/warmups, and I’ll let you know how it goes!

What are the notes in that riff
@salemkaresllc7309 it is arpeggios of the chords he is playing. And like he said, it's in the key of Ab

You're welcome!
Awesome vid!❤

It’s all about the real estate 🔥You don’t need more chords. You need more sauce.
I gotta really know more chord shapes and fingering; really fighting with barre chords till this day🥴
Dang you are a model RUclipsr for how id like to be one day
Wanna nail it? With those two chords, sing this: "He's a complicated man, don't no-one understand him but his woman...Shaft!"
...Damn right !
How do I get the video explaining the numbers
Kerry I would like to ask you one thing. I'm thinking to buy an amp for home. What do you think about Fender Champion 600 5W is a good option? What amps you use for the Neo Soul sound? Valves or transistor? Best regards bro!
