I exchanged my ridiculously heavy bike for a much lighter 900cc Triumph Tiger. Now I travel bitumen and dirt roads with a greater degree of comfort and safety! Stay upright Paddy, and keep the vids coming!
I used have a V-Strom which would be great on that road but I’m an idiot.
I feel compelled to visit Australia based on your vids. It’s a beautiful landscape that is somewhat familiar to my home in the western US, but it’s also obviously a world away in more ways than one. Your videos are really something fun to stir the imagination. Some longer trips will soon be necessary, but that seems a really great “problem” to have too!

The Outback reminds me of parts of New Mexico and Arizona. The red dirt especially!

We were at Railway Hotel having lunch when you went past...plus Terry the Publican took us for a tour under the pub. Bummer we missed you.
I saw some bikes outside as I passed and was half thinking of stopping but ended up filming first! Oh well. Next time!

It seems Australia is very similar to the US. Its almost like the US in some alternate universe.
In some ways, it’s very similar. The size, definitely. In many ways, it’s very different though. Sort of like Europe and the US had an overachieving child.
