It's been a long while since I last listened to the Art Metal album. I must say the solo on Manirambha (the first one) is probably my favourite of yours. For a long, long time it was my ring tone. I had to change it because I could never pick up. It was kinda stupid missing so many calls with a grin on my face. Turiturutu, turiturututuru, turiturutu... (Beat my konnakol, lol)

I tried to understand the rythmic structures and i think i get it for the most part but i have a problem with the riff 3a. You said is : "Ta ki te ta / ta ki te ta / ta ki te ta / and ta ki te / ta ki te / ta ki te" for the beginning. And when i read the sheet at 10:24, i can't understand the "ta ki te / ta ki te / ta ki te"... I don't know if i explain well, english is hard for me, sorry. I really want to understand and try to play it on bass. Your rythmic patterns fascinate me. Thank you for that.

Yes you can. Search "konnakol" and you'll find either instructional or performance videos on this. You'll find very elaborate pieces, sometimes two people in unisson, which shows they're not improvising.

You will get it. Ignore the notation and listen to it and bunch of times and then go back. It'll solve itself, I promise.
