This was one of my first whiskies and, as I opened other bottles, I’d often go back to it when I just wanted a tasty, flavorful dram. I couldn’t agree more with you Alan! I’d gladly recommend it over Glenlivet 12 or Glenfiddich 12.

It really is a dangerous dram Alan.... Forgot how tasty and how simple and easy this is to drink... My bottle arrived yesterday my friend... Cheers for the support pal...

I like Glenfarclas a lot, especially the 105... Sippin' on some Kilchoman Loch Gorm at present.. Enjoyin' it! I only tried the Glenfarclas 12 West Coast Edition several year ago, and it was alright, but I have yet to try the regular twelve... I love the fifteen!

Thank ya for that. I just purchased my first bottle and am enjoying it more and more each time I pop the cork. I'd been sipping Aberlour 16 which I quickly fell in love with, which has a very different character; a bit sweeter and fruitier in my opinion. It would be interesting to see a review from you from these two side by side.

Interesting, Alan! I tend to skip the 12 since Glenfarclas is so affordable at older ages. I might reconsider that. Same with Glendronach and Glengoyne actually. I should check out their twelves. Cheers.

I'm impressed by the value Glenfarclas can offer on their age stated single malts when comparing to other distilleries.

This was in our original 24 blind taste and came in 22nd as we were put off by the bitter/harsh second half. We now have a 17 waiting in blind bottles somewhere and tried a sample of a faintly smokey 15 that we liked.

Alan, I really like this one. And a great price in two places around town at $47. BUT some places, even a BIG chain, just a few miles away are $70 to 80?? Ya gotta shop around. My 12 year favorites at this time are GD and Bunna. And have 2 bottles of the GF 12 to keep enjoying. Cheers!

I'm so jealous that's it's only 30-40 pounds for you guys, here in Australia it's 60+ pounds equivalent. It's one of my favorites I've bought so far and when you said the cost I almost wept.
